AI Impact on Technology and Culture
Speaker 1AI agents are going to be the tool that a lot of companies are going to use to complement people's work and activities, but unfortunately I'm going to tell you straight up it's going to take a lot of people's jobs, and what I mean by that is is that AI has gotten to a point where it's able to have an index of information about the company and answer any question that a person may have, but also take action on those things. You can have video content stream through a FaceTime that looks like it's a real person jogging, talking to you, and the audio is on sync and you wouldn't even know that you were really talking to an AI. So I mean we either need to adapt or get left behind. Bro, welcome, welcome, welcome, audience. The Tech Hustle is back at it. It's 2025.
Speaker 1How's the year started off for y'all? Fantastic, fantastic. Let me give a quick introduction. I'm your host, bobby d. I got my guy d hustle, what up, player what up. And we got my cousin raymond don't call him ray, ray, everything's good. Say hi to the camera, not to me, bro. This guy always want to talk to me, talk to the camera, the audience want to see you player. Well, we are back at it with episode fellas at the beginning of the year 2025.
Speaker 12025. How's the year been for you, Raymond?
Speaker 2Not bad yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1Kicking off real good. How about you D it's good, yeah, yeah Just started, just started, just getting started. Well, as mentioned, I'm your host of this podcast here, the Tech Hustle Wow, I can't even talk. The Tech, tech Hustle Podcast. We're at episode number 51.
Speaker 2And yeah, big shout-outs Hold on, let that sink in Episode 51.
Speaker 151. And we're going to the moon and back on this for real, though, and definitely big shout-outs to all the guests. We had all the topics that we covered for the beginning or the end of last year, 2024. We had a really great report come out, and guys guess how many subscribers we got on YouTube. How many 7,000 subscribers.
Speaker 1We are heading close to 8,000 very soon and definitely want to give everybody a big shout out. If you are a subscriber, thank you for following along. If you're not a subscriber yet, I want to encourage you to click that like and subscribe button and tell people about us. We're heading towards 10,000. And we're just trying to level up everybody as we go. So just a quick introduction about the show.
Speaker 1So our show, the Tech Hustle, really focuses on technology, engineering and the culture. Each of us have been in the field of engineering or technology for more than 20 years now. What do y'all say? Yeah, we go way back, even though y'all can see my grades, but you can't see their grades. They got a few, few years on me at least one year on me but in general, we've been all doing this since the early 2000s and one of the cool things is is that we've all had some really great experiences working in the field of engineering and technology and we're bringing it here to the podcast and giving you the insights into a few cool tech but also things that are shifting and going on in our industry that I think everybody should be aware of, because I'm changing my tech talk this time around for this new year and I'm going to be focusing on something called AI. Y'all ready to talk more about?
Speaker 1AI yeah, if not, y'all are going to get left behind, but let me give you a quick run of the show so y'all know what we're going to be talking about. So I'll kick it off with a tech talk focused on AI, and then we're going to have a D hustle talking about current events, things that are going on in our industry, and then Raymond's nuggets are going to come in. Let's see Raymond's got a few sites he said in a cool TV show that we're going to review. D hustle is going to come back around with some sports. Definitely you like sports. We know NFL is really kicking off.
Speaker 2Nba is going Not kicking off the playoffs are kicking off, not kicking off. The playoffs are kicking off yeah, yeah, we're about to wrap it.
Speaker 1Wild cards wild cards, right? Um, and we'll have a spot for our sponsors. If you're looking to come and hang out with us and want some sponsorship, you'll see us at the end. We'll talk about that and then I'll close it out. What do y'all think about that? Fellas, good to me, all right, let's there, we go. There we go, cue up that music player. Let's see if we can get into this tech talk here. Oh man, let me tell y'all uh, over this past time, because we've been offline for at least a few weeks now so obviously celebrating the holidays, um, definitely publishing some good content out there.
Speaker 1So go check out our end of year video. I tell you it's fire some really good highlights, um, and big shout outs to everybody that's holding it down with us. But today I'm going to be talking about uh, technology that we're all familiar with. If you've been watching the show, you know we've been talking about it a lot, and that is ai artificial intelligence. So yeah uh, first of all, let's see raymond's first feedback on. Has your feedback in in cotton? Uh, you're feeling about ai change at all, are you still?
Speaker 3uh, on the other side of the table? No, no, it's definitely changed. I've been using. Actually, I used it the other day lies lies um you know, I can't believe it you guys are gonna get a kick out of this so you know the, you know our listeners and you guys know I'm single.
Speaker 1I'm always on the prowl oh my guy, hey, you're gonna burn a phone.
Speaker 2Did you hear that?
Speaker 3did you hear that yeah so no, I actually uh asked ai actually yesterday to, um, I needed some compliments to give a young lady that I'm chatting with uh-huh yeah. So I whipped out the ai and was like, hey, what kind of compliments can I give this young lady?
Speaker 1without the ai, no pun intended yeah I'm finding use for it, so yes, but it gave you some good content it did. It gave me a nice compliment and I gave the young lady the compliment and she was just blown away.
Speaker 2Wow, look at you, she must have did it through a text message. I did yeah, yeah, I figured this guy, soon he's going to have it doing his voice.
Speaker 1I tell you there's something called 11 Labs. If you haven't heard it, it's this voice recognition ai that can hear your voice and then actually clone your voice or you can use it to you create other voices. Uh, I'm not telling you this to tether that to your burner phone and stuff like that and calling people like crazy. But, uh, I'm happy to hear that you're using it. Um, your use case is very unique, um, and definitely want to inspire you to keep using it. How about you do you?
Speaker 2you've been using, oh, what do you got to hear what he said for our listeners.
Speaker 3Well, listen to this. Okay, I'm not going to go into a lot of detail, but you don't need all that.
Speaker 2I want to know what ai told you.
Speaker 3Well, the young lady is, you know, studying for something to do with nursing, and obviously she is attractive as well and I wanted the ai. I was like hey, give me a compliment that I can give this young lady that she's beautiful and smart. And it gave me a compliment, a combo that I could give her. So I just kind of wanted to let her know that not only is she attractive, but she's smart.
Speaker 2Did it just say it's beautiful and smart? No, it did not.
Speaker 3So it gave me more, but I don't remember the full context, but I literally copied it and pasted it and sent it to her.
Speaker 1That's it.
Speaker 3Wow, copied it and pasted it and sent it to her. So that's it. Wow, wow, raymond.
Speaker 2Yeah, because I was stumbling on oh what kind of company can I give her? Unfortunately, guys, he's not able to provide the information that he sent to the he don't want us to read the full text message.
Speaker 1That's what it is. Besides, she might be watching this too, so oh, you see, look at you get yourself caught up player.
Speaker 1yeah, all right, but hey, it's being used in a great medium and what he's really trying to find especially if you're looking and listening and watching us the right way to convey the way he feels about you. So don't take it offensive that he used AI. We'll see if you get a call back or not, raymond. Yeah, we'll see. How about you D? How's your opinion about AI been, and have you been using it at all?
Speaker 2I've been using AI man.
Speaker 1I can't um a couple letters here and there. Yeah, I need to write um other than that. That's all I use it for. Yeah, yeah, I mean you also be using it um roaming these streets.
AI Agents Impacting Customer Relations
Speaker 1Well, we'll talk about that a little bit later though but, uh, d hustle is more plugged into everybody, but all right. So, in terms of ai, one thing that I want to give us is a public service announcement and and this is something I want you all to really tune in and listen in is that AI and the current forum in the next year 2025, we're going to only hear more about it, because there is this shift that AI is making to not only be able to use it for the use case that Raymond and D Hustle mentioned, such as, you know, creating text, creating content, either writing letters or, you know, drafting things for you but actually utilizing it in a form called AI agents. Have y'all heard of that yet? Ai agents, yes, yeah. So let me just give you all context a little bit about what AI agents are and definitely want to inspire you all to dive a little bit deeper. So, whenever you all going to hear about AI agents, these are going to be the things that are going to and I'm sorry I'm going to say this, but Raymond's going to really agree with it, but I'm really going to rephrase it afterwards, but it's going to take a lot of jobs Hands down are going to be AI agents. Yeah, you can give it a one point yeah, yeah. So AI agents are going to be the tool that a lot of companies are going to use to complement and this is how I'm going to rephrase it People's work and activities. But unfortunately, I'm going to tell you straight up it's able to have an index of information about the company and answer any question that a person may have, but also take action on those things. For instance, sooner or later we are going to be and we've actually had this before you ever call in to get some help with somebody or get help with the company.
Speaker 1Let's say I'm calling like the bank, right, and I'm like hey, please give me your bank account number or give me some verification, and then this automated system comes on and says oh, can I help you? Press one if you need to hear your balance, press two if you need to do this, this, that and this. Now, if you notice, most of those things are informational information. They're going to give you back Like, give me my account balance or do this or not do this, but give me some more information. The AI agent is going to do that.
Speaker 1Next step, like hey, for instance, me and my daughter have a bank account together where I send her college funds to. I can call this agent now and say, hey, agent, can you transfer $100 from my personal account into my Tatiana's college fund account? And you'll hear the agent go in the background, do something, and it actually does that action, instead of actually having to go to the bank, sign some papers and say, hey, I need to transfer money, or even go on my phone and click this button and click that. You are going to have AI agents that are not going to be just for informational purposes, but take actions and do certain things.
Speaker 2I have a problem with that. What's up d? So I'm glad you mentioned that about calling a bank, uh getting information as far as hey you know, uh, please tell me etc etc.
Speaker 1How much you?
Speaker 2have in there, but you get transferred to a live agent and you still gotta rephrase the information again. So what's the point of saying it over the phone to this AI, to basically say it all over again? Now, I understand it's security, but you can bypass all that and speak to the live agent instead of redoing this all over again.
Speaker 1For sure, for sure, and I think what you're talking about in that use case is a great example. For sure, and I think what you're talking about in that use case is a great example. I think what's going to happen is when you get transferred to a live agent. You think it's a live agent, but it's actually an AI. Well, this is where I get a problem about that?
Speaker 2also because this is where, as far as taking jobs, some of these agents are not in the United States. Yeah, they States.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2They're overseas. Yeah, so I have. For example, you might be speaking to a Mohammed, but then they say their name is Jack. Yeah, for sure, your name is not Jack by your accent.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2I know you're not, Jack. I'd rather you tell me straight up boom, boom, boom. So how am I supposed to trust you with my personal information? Seeing it over the phone?
Speaker 1yeah and um, this is going to be the thing that I think all of us may not be ready for. Um, if you think about what d was just talking about, d hustle was saying hey, there was a time where, when you get used to get transferred, you get transferred somebody here in the states and you can hear in their voice, you can hear hear that they are from the United States, the accent, the slang or whatever they're using, right, um. Then there was a time where we send a lot of those jobs overseas to India, to, you know, pakistan, to wherever overseas you even find Philippines, so on and so forth, vietnam, um. And when we start to call in, then we hear that accent, right, and then this is the stage that we're in right now and D house is like yo, I don't even want to trust you Cause you're not even telling me your real name, type stuff. All right, so the third iteration of this is going to be an AI agent that's going to know where you calling from and have the tone automatically configured so that when you hear it it's going to sound like it's somebody that you know and somebody that's local. So those jobs that we sent overseas, those are going to be some of the jobs that are definitely going to get cut, because we won't need that type of cheap labor anymore, because we're going to have AI be that cheap later, or, more specifically, ai agents that are going to actually be able to have those conversations for you.
Speaker 1The thing that I do want to prepare everybody for and this has already happened to me is there are going to be more cold calls. I don't know if y'all seen an increase of your phone number popping up with numbers that you don't know. Number two those people that are those people that you think are on the other end are going to be AI agents. I'll give you an example. I got a phone call the other day. I picked it up and then it said it really quick so that I didn't have time to think about it. But it said hey, I'm an AI, I'm an AI assistant and I'm here to call you blah blah, blah, blah, blah, do this. And I was like, oh my God, you sound really cool. And I was like, hey, yeah, tell me this, tell me that. And literally the conversation was on. After I was done, I was like, oh shit, I forgot. They told me they were AI agent. So, in general, this is something that I want everybody to be prepared for, not only to be the consumers of these new agents that are going to come online specifically voice agents but also being prepared, mindset wise, that you're going to have to find a way to either build trust or let them know, like, hey, I need to speak to a human being, I need to like press zero, I need to move on beyond this, but we just got to be prepared for it.
Speaker 1Now, in terms of AI agents, that's only one small piece of the big pie that's going to be happening, because the other thing that I read the other day and this came from Sam Alton, the CEO of OpenAI the CEO of OpenAI he mentioned something about AI agents are going to be a part of our employee work, and what I mean by that is like they're going to actually be employees and the sense of you. Ever, on Slack or Discord or Teams, I don't know whatever chat messaging you use in your office and you're chatting with somebody, you're sending them a message. They're eventually going to be AI agents that are going to be coming a part of your team's group that are going to be chatting and communicating with you Also. They're going to be almost like employees that can do things like hey, um, I need, uh, for instance, raymond's, an application administrator. Hey, I need an account, uh, updated. Uh, this is the username, this is the application, and AI agent will be able to pick that up and go and execute on that without you actually having to do it.
Embracing AI
Speaker 1So I'm more or less just giving you all a brief introduction to AI agents. There's a lot of technologies out there, there's a lot of platforms, but the thing that I want you all, number one, to be prepared for is being a consumer, being the ones that they're calling, and interacting with a peer in terms of like a work peer, and interacting with a peer in terms of like a work peer, because you're going to be working with agents coming up very soon. And then the lane that I want to encourage everyone to actually really take a look at especially if you're here for software engineering and the technologist side of the table here is learning the skills to create these agents. It's going to be big businesses, fellows. It's going to be literally multi-billion dollar business. I've been reading a lot of people that have been prototyping a lot of these systems. Actually, we had a big shout out to Marlon Avery. Remember our Marlon.
Speaker 2Avery.
Speaker 1What up Marlon? Marlon and I had a conversation the other day and he was breaking it down to me in terms of what is forthcoming and it's going to be a great opportunity for those that are afraid of AI. But hey, I want to actually learn AI and I actually want to build something in AI and then I want to go make some bread. Definitely want you to look into AI agents and if you do want to dive more deeper, we're here as a community. I'm already working on something called Jules AI. It already does a few things and I'm definitely leveling it up. I want to open source it, but I'm waiting for y'all to pull up and see. I want some interest. So if y'all want to learn more AI agents, more AI things with us here at the community, I want y'all to join us.
Speaker 1We are on the school platform that's wwwthetechcustlecom, and on our page. You'll see our community there. Join our community and we can have conversations there. I'm really waiting for y'all to pull up so we can dive more deeper. But yeah, be on the lookout for AI agents in 2025 and note that my tech talk segment on the tech hustle going forward, we're going to be talking about something, about AI. So big shout out to everybody that's using it and thank you guys for giving us some input. Yeah, all right, raymond got something to say. What up, raymond?
Speaker 3Yeah, what do you think about that? Like with the Sam Altman saying that you know they're going to have like the agents in our teams and all that stuff like that. What do you think about that?
Speaker 1To be straight up, I'm going to give you an opinion of being a more optimistic person, meaning that I'm going to sit on the side of the table. That is like, yeah, this is going to really make my job easier. Year is. As an employee, I'm going to have to find ways for me to do things faster and better, rather than what I think a lot of employees unfortunately have gotten stuck in is like, hey, I got my job, I got a nine to five. As long as I do this, this, this, this, I'm going to get a paycheck that's not going to fly anymore. It's going to be like, hey, how can I get this AI to do what I normally do so I can go and do other things? I think that if I had AI the way that we're talking about AI right now, when I was still at the keyboard working at Twitter, I probably would have been able to downsize my team from five engineers to two, and five engineers was managing massive infrastructure. It is literally going to allow companies to do more with less, plain and simple.
Speaker 1As a business owner, I definitely see the value around it in terms of costs. As a shareholder, I definitely see a value of like hey, get more AI agents, because I'm a shareholder and I want more value in my shares as an employee. It's going to be really tough and really I just want to prepare people mindset-wise is that you're going to have to be one of the ones that step up and be like, hey, I want to learn it or hey, I want to go do it, rather than be like now, I'll just wait for, you know, the day they tell me, or send, send me my pink slip because it is going to come, and no more than two to three years. This thing is moving too freaking fast that if you do not get on, you're going to get left off. All right.
Speaker 1And now the opinion about a pessimistic and on the other side about it. I don't like it. I don't like it in the sense of it is literally going to take people's jobs 100,000%. So much so that I read an article that Sam Alton said, even in the financial section don't you know like the stock market? The? Let's say that you back in the days when you used to look at the stock market and they show you images. Everybody's holding up these tickets like, hey, sell this, sell that, sell this. And then everything became digital, right and then it's on the board and there's eventually there will be nobody on the stock market floor because it's going to take every single one of their jobs and it's going to be an ai that's going to be doing those type of transactions at the lowest speed possible, talking in milliseconds, and if I'm thinking about me, somebody in the financial district or in that, those type of jobs, I'm going to hate ai because it's literally going to take jobs 100, but so basically, uh, what you're saying?
Speaker 2raymond did not hear anything you said besides just taking my job.
Speaker 1That's all he heard. Like I said yeah, jay raymond, I'm telling you nothing.
Speaker 2You said besides it's gonna take my job yeah, it's, it's gonna be.
Speaker 1I'll tell you the only way it's going to slow roll and I'll give you the example. If you remember when let's say not even remember the case now you know, when you're working in corporate America, you're usually running on an older operating system. I remember when I went to go work for a bank and they were still running Windows 95. And I was like what Windows 95, windows, and work for a bank and they were still running windows 95. And I was like what windows 95, windows and like windows 95 and nt how in the world are y'all still running on this old operating system? And there's this newer, shiny or better operating system there. It's because the business just couldn't move fast enough.
Speaker 1That's what's going to hold the adoption back. But eventually that company, four years later, adopted that new operating system and that's going to be the play that a lot of companies going to have. So I would get get ahead of it. I would definitely be utilizing and finding the use case for it. Um, and, yeah, you, there's a new title that's on these streets called ai engineer. Check it out.
AI Conversations on Social Media
Speaker 3Um, that's where I think a lot of roles are going to be moving towards interesting yeah, well, the reason why I brought it up is I wanted to know your personal opinion. Like, what do you think about chatting with like an ai? Like you know, it's not a person.
Speaker 1Yeah I mean, I, I'm accustomed to it. Y'all hear me talk to my ai almost like if it's a person, so I'm used to it.
Speaker 3I think, uh, I don't have a problem with that at all, okay, yeah the reason why I brought it up is I don't know if you guys heard about the story.
Speaker 3Um, I was waiting for us to record again because I kind of saved the story it came out a couple weeks ago about what meta is trying to do with instagram and facebook. There you are talking about putting like some ais out in the spear where they're not real people they're like. Oh okay, let's just say I'm chatting with pookie, but it's not really pookie, it's a ai made pookie yeah so everybody flipped out, and mark zuckerberg reverted yeah so I wanted to get your opinions I feel like he's watching new jack city.
Speaker 2I don't know. He's coming out with pookie and shit. I don't know what's going on.
Speaker 3That's a bad example, okay well they made an ai black person talk like it oh, they dropped it in, yeah they dropped it in um instagram yeah people flipped out and mark zuckerberg reversed it so I?
Speaker 1I let me tell you this I wouldn't be surprised we're talking to ai already. I wouldn't be surprised. I mean, think about it. We reported, we recorded um in our highlights. It reminded me of it. Do y'all remember that story that, uh, I believe d hustle reported about uh the guy, uh, or or raymond, about the guy that got locked up for having all those bots? You remember that story? It's already there. Yeah, we, we just don't know, and I guarantee you Mark Zuckerberg probably says that they shut it down, but it's still running in experiment mode. We just got to be mindful of it and be prepared for it.
Speaker 3It's, it's going to be massive what if I'm like instagramming or dming a uh instagram model? But it's not really an instagram model. It's some ai thing that mark zuckerberg well, that's your first mistake.
Speaker 2Instagram model okay, he's starting at the top of the list, though, like he was about to just put this out there and, like you know, people flipped out and he reversed it, but you are probably right.
Speaker 3He's starting at the top of the list though, like he was about to just put this out there and, like you know, people flipped out and he reversed it.
Speaker 1But you are probably right, he was probably I don't know I mean, that's the thing about the bay area and these technologists and these companies they, they like to do things and then ask for forgiveness later. So, whatever you think you just found out about, it's already been out there, bro. It's already out there. And, and let me tell you this, if you did not know that it was ai, you were talking to that ig model, would you care?
Speaker 3yes, I would you would care.
Speaker 1All right, let me ask you this what if you never knew that it was an ai like? Would it make a difference?
Speaker 2I mean, I'm hoping that I'm talking to a real person yeah, so it's gonna find out, when I mean model, don't show up, yeah, when he buys a ticket, buys a flight and says fire out here.
Speaker 1That's crazy man. And then you go to the airport and then nobody comes through. That's wild man. Let me tell you, we are at the point right now that Raymond, you will not know bro.
Speaker 3Okay, so I'm just going to be on Instagram doom scrolling, liking a bunch of robots.
Speaker 1You will not know. Okay, you will not. That chick that you were sending a message to Is AI it could be.
Speaker 3You are correct. You possibly are correct. Yes, I'm telling you player Until I speak to her on the phone, and it still could be, not even that you got to meet these people in person. You are correct.
Speaker 1Because in person you are correct, because there's this other software that I'm going to talk about during our next episode, that you can have video content streamed through a FaceTime that looks like it's a real person jogging, talking to you and the audio is on sync and you wouldn't even know that you were really talking to an AI. So I mean we either need to adapt or get left behind, bro you're hurting his man's dreams.
Speaker 3Let's go ahead and talk about cyanide I always do facetime before I meet them for coffee, so my god, that's not even uh, the hustle is like you, you.
Speaker 1You burning down the whole tree, you burn down the whole house, the house is burned down, he's like I don't even want to do this, no more. But I will encourage you, especially people out there get ready for what is about to come through. Uh, you're gonna have to meet people in person for this shit.
Speaker 3Yeah, you're gonna have to meet people. You guys are married, you don't have to worry about this.
Speaker 1I'm just saying I'm still dealing with this crap in general, bro, you, you're just gonna have to get ready. You're gonna have to get ready because there's going to be a lot of people out there and don't even think about the scamming side of this, right Like there's going to be a lot of scams that are going to be ran like 100,000%, like be prepared. And, raymond, you're our use case.
Speaker 3We live through you, so your experience I'm going to tell you guys all the stories of All right fellas.
Speaker 1Well as again, audience. Thank you so much for tuning in during our tech talk. Remember, I'm going to be talking about AI throughout the rest of the year. Tune in. And yet, if you're a real person looking to really connect with a high level, great spirited person, we've got somebody on our team. His name is Raymond. Don't call him Ray, ray, don't just send him a message. You got to send him a picture. You got to send. Send them a picture. You've got to send them your driver's license. You've got to send them your Social Security. Oh, wow, play a strong video. That's called a background check.
Speaker 1But he's a real cool dude. We're going to find you somebody this year player. That would be fire if we get somebody for you through the podcast.
Speaker 3Oh, that would be, yeah, listeners.
Speaker 1I'm here trying to hook you up with visas and stuff. Don't discriminate. All right d, let's go ahead and jump in the current event all right, ladies and gentlemen.
Speaker 2Well, happy 2025. Hope everybody had a good, happy new year. Merry christmas, happy kwanzaa hanukkah yeah, whatever you guys celebrate, uh, but the show must continue the show must continue all right what'd you say?
Speaker 1happy festivus all of those happy everything.
Speaker 2Happy three years. Whatever you guys want to celebrate, I'm all in.
Speaker 1I'm all in it you took your christmas tree down, yet oh yeah, okay, how about?
Speaker 3you. Yeah, I can't stand like past the fifth. I gotta get that stuff down.
Speaker 2Oh boy, you took yours down, nope so I figured, I figured um, so into, uh, some technology news around here. So have you guys heard of double point?
Speaker 2so double point, so double point has come out with a new app. Basically it's called wow mouse, wow mouse. So for this is basically what it is is that one mouse allows you to point your hand at a mac or control the cursor with the computer using the compassion app. So basically, you're able to use the app actually the app by using your hand instead of using the mouse oh, that's fire all right, and this is working only for um apple watches from nine and up.
Speaker 2Um is a really good gadget. Um, not too sure if you guys are able to um pinpoint it out. I haven't downloaded it yet, but I will download it soon. That's cool.
Speaker 1That is cool so you're able to double click, launch for free a Apple watch app. Wow, yep, you know what this reminds me of and I'm going to, I'm going to take y'all back to old school. Do you remember the Nintendo? You remember back in the days they used to have that glove that you can put? On, yeah, you remember that I used to have that. Oh, my God, you had that glove, I had that glove.
Tech Talk
Speaker 2Oh my gosh, in the future. That's cool, but with the, with the name, the numbers, the letters on the side and everything, I thought I was the next terminator for a minute, to tell you the truth. But yeah, man, this is a good gadget. You're able to use it. It's like able to use your fingertips instead of using your mouse.
Speaker 1Uh, with it yeah, there there goes the image right there. That's pretty cool yeah that that's what it reminds me of is like when that first invention of like a device that's on your wrist, that you can move around but dang, so our Apple Watches are going to be able to be a mouse? Yep, you're able to use it as a mouse.
Speaker 2You're able to control your TV with it. Anything else, you want to use it with your Apple Watch on there. It was founded in 2020, just a few years ago, basically and it has raised $6.5 million. Just a few years ago, basically, and it has raised $6.5 million Basically. The government of Finland expect to close another funding in around 2020-25.
Speaker 1Wow, finland is going to be jumping into that, yeah.
Speaker 2So it says here your Wow Mouse to control your computer, your TV and have a device reconnected to another. Basically, it's how seamless DoublePoint technology will be if you wasn't operating with someone else's wall garden.
Speaker 1Oh, that's cool man.
Speaker 2Something to look at.
Speaker 1That's a good find. Doubleclick, check that one out everybody. Oh, doublepoint, I'm sorry.
Speaker 2DoublePoint. Their app is called uh wow mouse I like that name, can't miss it all right.
Speaker 2Uh, later news here. Ladies and gentlemen apple, apple. So apple 18.2.1. That just came out today. Uh, if you guys haven't downloaded it on your phone, you're more than welcome to. It has a lot lot of stuff how you do your lock screen, how you have availability for your task available on your action button. It's just Apple Intelligence. You're able to download it now. Here's everything that you basically need for that. So I'm going to go ahead and add that here to Discord if you guys have not seen that yet. Did you download it?
Speaker 2Yep, downloaded it this morning already man d don't play, I gotta book. And then just I was looking here and then, and then 18.3 is coming out soon, so I don't fucking understand these people.
Speaker 1They have probably some bug fixes in there. You know all kinds of yeah, Yep, Yep.
Speaker 2Another point Scammers, uh-oh, phishing attacks. Do you guys know when you guys get these messages?
Speaker 1your UPS has not. The delivery has not arrived yet.
Speaker 2Yeah, actually I got one. If you click on stop, those are basically scammers logging into your phone what. Being phishing into you, did not?
Speaker 1know that and you're talking about when you get that text message, when you get the text message.
Speaker 2I put it up here in discord if you want to pull it up. If you scroll down, here's an example. Our staff wasn't able to deliver your package on time because of the address information provided. Please, uh, is incomplete. Please complete with the next 24 hours and then you have reply. Yes, exit the text message or reopen the device activation link and safari will open it to the latest logistic status oh my god so these are how the phishing slash scammers are going into your iphone.
Speaker 2See, I knew it was a matter of time as far as people logging in into your phone yep so there goes the answer to that. Um, if iphone uh, here's a message. Iphone, uh, get your shit together, because they're finding shit and how to find ways, how to get into your phone facts 100.
Speaker 1And then that actually means, especially when they start to release new versions, is y'all need to upgrade to newer versions, because that's why those vulnerabilities are out there so don't click stop or text stop first of all, don't click anything blue at all unless you know that person. Unless that name pops up and you know that phone number, do not click anything. Blue, that means it's a link that's going to trigger something on your phone. And now they saying what d hustle is reporting is that trigger. Can you give them access?
Speaker 2to things on your phone. Access to your phone.
Speaker 1Wow, yeah, be safe out there y'all.
Speaker 2All right, this one's a little new for me. I'm about to do a new little segment here. I did this for my lovely Raymond. The 2025 Ford Mustang GTD is at a top speed for my man, raymond Don't call me ray ray so this beautiful machine that you see here is the new mustang. 20 uh 25 gtd is official sped up by 202 horsepower wow, which is a 5.2 liter v8 engine, and it comes out with 115 horsepower and 664 pounds of torque.
Speaker 1Wow.
Speaker 2Not my cup of tea. That's mostly for Raymond. But here's the thing. Great article it lets you know how it's going to be the Porsches, it's going to be the Corvettes and all that, but what they don't put on there I had to look this up it's the price of this animal.
Speaker 1How much is?
Speaker 2it $325,000. Good Lord there. I had to look this up. It's the price of this animal how much is it? 325 000, good lord. Oh, congratulations. If you got it wrong button, you got it and that's what it looks like, and that's what it looks like it looks like a regular mustang, right mustangs. It looks like it just got a side skirt, a diffuser, a wing, what? What am I missing here? A Mustang, that's basically what you're missing.
Speaker 1What you're missing is what's under the hood, bro. That's probably where the money is. Wow.
Speaker 3That just looks like a regular Mustang. Yeah, good Lord.
Speaker 2That's crazy.
Speaker 1Can it compete with the 240? Yes, definitely.
Speaker 2Well, I'm not going up for 800. I'm not going up for $800.
Speaker 1I'm looking at $700.
Speaker 2But if I wanted to dust this out, I definitely can. I just got to get bigger, turbo, bigger fuel pan.
Speaker 1I mean other than that.
Speaker 2Mine is just built, not bought. Just want to get that out there.
Speaker 1Facts, facts.
Speaker 2All right, just want to let you guys know. But yes, as of right now, it will definitely burn the 240 out of existence. But again For $300,000 though For $300,000, I'll get something different. I'm not getting no fucking Ford. Yeah, you know, maybe the Ford GT, maybe I'll work with that, or the Shelby.
Speaker 1I'll pass on that. Yeah, I'll roast her.
Speaker 2But other than that, that's it. Next subject here elon musk. Uh-oh, what we got on elon misrepresents data that shows tesla is still years away from unsupervised self-driving wow, that's not surprising.
Speaker 1Two things misrepresentation, and that too.
Speaker 2That is not ready so basically, a lot of people arguing about some um that basically against him, that he was having claims that have the self cars self driving package up to $15,000 because it's such a difficult and important thing to achieve. Um, as of right now, this article is letting you know that, uh, he lied to you, wow, which I knew that she was coming. Uh, I mean again, I have a cousin that has a tesla. It does self-drive, go straight, it does go between the lines, but you still have to touch the steering wheel yeah, yeah, that's correct, uh, so but do you think it's worth fifteen thousand dollars?
Speaker 2uh, no, no, I don't think so. I mean, I will only utilize this package personally. I I wouldn't do self-driving because I want to.
Speaker 1I want to be in control yeah, we know you do, but I will use it like, for example, if I'm in the mall and it's freaking raining, I would like that luxury of having getting the tesla coming out and come picking me up yeah that's the only thing I will do, and that's the only thing I need yeah, um, but the the thing that that I think is is is the part of this uh uh facade that elon has been able to create is this big vision of what this product will be and then still setting the same price tag of what it will be in terms of when it's there. So 15 000 uh per per implementation, and if you get a new car, do you still have to pay another 15 000? Or if you sell the car, do the person that buys it have to pay it, or does that transfer over?
Speaker 3uh, no, yeah, I'm not sure. I don't know how that works.
Speaker 2Yeah yeah, I mean, hopefully it transfers over to my new vehicle.
Speaker 3Yeah well, it does actually, because when I bought my car it had it already.
Speaker 1But you didn't have to come out of pocket for it. No, I didn't, okay. Okay, at least you're charging that one time. But it's. It's basically a software, a feature that they're enabling for fifteen thousand dollars. I don't know, I don't know, and it's not ready for the prime time. Um, I don't know if it's worth that, but uh, now he's gonna get into some trouble about that for sure.
Speaker 2Yeah yeah and two, uh, two more last um what you got news? Uh, some some heartbreaking stuff here. Nothing crazy. Uh well, it is crazy for me. A couple hours ago, a large earthquake hits southwestern japan. 6.6 hit Tokyo. That hit so hard that they are having a tsunami warning as we speak. Oh my gosh. So love and prayers everybody over there. A lot of people have died with that hurricane and then last but not least, earthquake.
Speaker 2Earthquake, I'm sorry Earthquake and then the tsunami warning, so just prayers to the family wow, that's crazy and last but not least, the LA fire over there a lot of people losing their homes, so please be careful out there. Whatever you guys need, please tech hustle is here. Get the word out. Donations 100% and man some of these pictures, if you guys need please check us out here.
Speaker 1Get the word out. Donations, yeah, 100%. And man, some of these pictures of what it used to be versus what it is now is heartbreaking, Because that's people's livelihoods you know, that's people. You know One person I've seen this family owned that house for 40 years 40 years. His mother paid it off, worked, worked her, and she passed away and left that for him. Yeah, and it's, it's crazy and and you know, the other thing they're going to have a problem with is insurance claims.
Speaker 2That's what I was about to say I don't think there's insurance claim that people put on uh for fire, stuff like that yeah so I don't know how that's gonna work and fema's probably backed up oh my gosh, I don't, I don't know how they're going to be able to to do this.
Speaker 1Uh, because those insurance claims already, when we deal with them, with hurricane, it's almost years, like two, three years, that people waiting for money, living with their blue tarp on their roof.
Speaker 1For you know, two years waiting for a check to be delivered and now these, these, um, unfortunate people have their house gone. Yeah, um, and a lot of them gonna have to come out of pocket to rebuild and hopefully, you know, somebody send them a check. Um, and I also heard the governor is going to be in some hot water too, because there was a lot of things that they said they could have done preventively.
Speaker 2Um, to definitely to, to prevent this from happening I hear canada is helping out, mexico is helping out, so good job. Special shout out to you guys. Uh helping out, uh over there. Hopefully uh trump don't do nothing to you guys and shit yeah helping out. You never know. That's another story. That's another uh that's another episode.
Speaker 1Uh, well, we send our thoughts and prayers to everybody. Uh, next up we got my guy raymond. Don't call him ray ray. Top of the Raymond, what you got on your list player.
Debunking Misinformation and Travel Reviews
Speaker 3Morning. So piggyback off of what D Hustle was saying there yeah, shout out to all the folks there in LA, very, very sad yeah. What's going on over there. So one of my nuggets I wanted to talk about is you know, there's always misinformation going out there and stuff like that. I information going out there and stuff like that. I don't know if you guys saw I was on xcom last week. There was a story that went viral on there about some folks in la that were looting. Did you guys see that?
Speaker 3where the people were taking the tvs out of the home and I was like on twitter and I was like, man, people are actually doing this. This is so sad that they're doing this at this time of crisis. So you know, come to find out. Um, that story was false. What I wanted to drop in here is this website that I've been using for like 20 years now. It's called snopescom and what it does is it debunks any stupid story that you hear like sometimes I'll be like and my group chats with my goons and stuff oh yeah, this happened. Whatever, this site has been around for like 20. I've been using for like 20 plus years and, anyway, you go on there. If you scroll down, you'll see that that story was false with the people looting the houses. They were not, they were actually helping. But snopescom has been around for many years and it debunks a lot of stuff. If you hear people like, oh yeah you know, we're on the mars or whatever.
Speaker 3It's a great site to kind of debunk if something is real or fake. So check it out snopescom, and if you see there, yeah, yeah, the story there. They were kind of saying these people were robbing the houses and that's not the case.
Speaker 1They're actually helping I mean technically, what would they be robbing ashes?
Speaker 3well, they were saying that they were going into homes and taking the tvs, as you can see, and stuff like that, and twitter just blew it up and was like, oh, these people are pieces of crap. But it wasn't the case. They were taking their own stuff out the homes to try to save them and stuff like that. I don't know where you're going to put them, but thanks.
Speaker 2But yeah, snopescom, check it out, great site I did see some people online that had a car collection of millions of dollars parked outside like a Walmart because they didn't want to get on the fire.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2Wow, yeah, yeah, and they keep moving in and consistent, because they didn't want people to steal their vehicles and stuff like that.
Speaker 1Yeah, yeah. So they had to move them around. They had to keep moving them around.
Speaker 2Good Lord, good Lord I mean, I do the same thing too. I have several cars there 240.
Speaker 1I do the same thing too.
Speaker 2I have several cars there 240B down in Breyer, like you see that shit in.
Speaker 1Fort Lauderdale. Yeah, you know, it's called B Stewart, like D where's your car at, don't worry about it. Don't worry about it. And he gots a tracker cause he put a tag on it. That's funny. But yo, this is a really nice site, so I mean, have you ever used it? No, I Appreciate that you dropped that in there.
Speaker 3I've been using this thing for like 20 plus years. It's a great site to debunk any stupid stuff that you hear or, if you want to think something is real or fake. Check it out, roger. That Awesome, awesome site.
Speaker 1Definitely, especially with the new administration that's coming in with some really crazy. I would definitely debunk or utilize these services.
Speaker 3Yeah, another thing too is with the whole H1 visas and stuff like that. They were saying, like you know, did Elon fire all of his people and hire the visa people because they're cheaper. So it talks about that. I didn't read the story, but that's like a big thing going around.
Speaker 1Yeah, actually I thought I saw something with his face on it.
Speaker 3Yeah, but you can check it out if it's real or not. So a lot of people are upset about that. All right, playwood, what? All right, playwood, what else you got on your list, man? Uh, another thing here. This is uh interesting. This will probably help you and de-hustle out a lot, because you guys travel a lot and stuff like that.
Speaker 3So for you travelers out there, um, for you know, obviously you guys know airbnbs and hotels yeah they fake a lot of their pictures and their reviews and stuff like that on oh okay, our hotel is the best, this looks the clean and pristine and all that. Yeah, yeah, for you travelers like you and D Hustle here, oystercom is a site. They bring out real people to go check out the hotels. They do unbiased reviews and they give legit reviews, legit pictures on what the hotel or Airbnb actually looks like. Because a lot of these websites and stuff like that, they just put a lot of fake BS on there For sure. And then if you're on Oystercom, they have this cool thing called the fake out where it'll show you like some of the fake pages and fake pictures at the hotels and Airbnbs put on there. But, yeah, check this out. This thing is really cool for you People who are heavy and traveling. Don't trust the website or the reviews.
Speaker 1These are like real people they send out and do like yeah, some cnn investigations I will say that, uh, one of the things that has happened to me a number of time and d probably experiences too is that you, you look on airbnb and you see the pictures. You're like, dang, this is a really nice angle, this is really nice view. And then, get there, it's like my gosh. They put the camera in the corner to make the room look like it's really huge and then, when you get there, it's only like this small little room area or it's like this angle that the photographer is able to get in to make it look massive.
Speaker 3You ever run into that before D? Yeah, yeah, that's to that before d yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1So it's definitely plus they. You know they're gonna up the price because you're thinking you get in the perfect spot, okay, or or you go there and you'd be like, hey, you got the best view, and then when you really go and check out the balcony, actually it's the room that's on behind that has right slick yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2What I have done now recently is, um, when I go and look at a room or place, the location, I read on automatically the comments oh, okay so, uh, for example, oh, this place is phenomenal, it's looking good, etc. Etc. You know, people are always going to leave a review. Yeah, correct so you'll go to the review like oh, this place is nice. Exactly what it seems to be, it's a lie. Yada, yada, yada.
Speaker 3Oh, interesting next yeah, yeah, where are you reading the review from? Like the company's website.
Speaker 1Company's website, okay, okay yeah, I've always read the reviews okay, I mean every review is on ammo, anything I do, yeah, me too, yeah, yeah, and I and I actually sort it because I want to hear the worst first. Yeah, okay that's funny.
Speaker 3Yeah, I do that too sometimes. Yeah, yeah, okay but definitely check out this oystercom, yeah, so yeah, just another you know little tool for you guys, because I know you guys are, you know, heavy travelers.
Speaker 2So I'm thinking about full when I hear oysters man I haven't had some good oysters in a while yeah so, but um, but yeah, so yeah we'll check it out.
Sports and TV Show Recommendations
Speaker 1Check out, all right. All right, what else you got? I know that you said you got a show that you want to show I don't know if you guys have seen this show.
Speaker 3I'm gonna skip it uh-huh um, I'm late to the party. This show's been out for three years. Before I name it, I'm gonna ask you guys have you seen this show? The show's been out for three years and I've, you know, seen it. I'm like man, this thing looks corny. I'm not watching this thing, yeah and two weeks ago I went to coffee with my homeboy and he's like, oh, you never watched this. I'm like, no, he's like check it out, ray.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 3And I binged through it. The new season's coming out this week. The show is weird as hell, but it's good. I want to ask you guys before I drop it in here, really quick.
Speaker 2Drop it in there, bro.
Speaker 1Let me drop it in there, have you?
Speaker 3guys seen Severance, severance.
Speaker 2Severance.
Speaker 3Severance is on.
Speaker 1Apple TV.
Speaker 2Yes, it's been out for three years. No, no, I haven't seen it.
Speaker 3Yes, same here. I have not seen it as well until last week.
Speaker 1Like.
Speaker 3I said the show is weird, but it's good, good, weird you said it's good weird. So check it out. The new season comes out this week, so, like I said, definitely it's not something that I would be interested in, but I gave it a shot and it's good.
Speaker 1You're connected.
Speaker 3So it's weird but, like I said, it's good. So it's kind of like Office, but sci-fi, you guys like Office.
Speaker 1Yeah, yeah I like that show.
Speaker 3It's kind of like the Office, but it's just weird actors that he don't even know but yeah, ben stiller, the famous actor, he's the one that kind of directs the um episodes and stuff like that.
Speaker 1Yeah, yeah, so, yeah so severance.
Speaker 3Um yeah, so check it out bro I, I.
Speaker 1You know what apple tv isn't always on my list of networks, that I usually go check out for new stuff. But I will say that whenever I hear you talk about a show like this, I've never seen it before, so now I'm needing to go check out Apple TV more.
Speaker 3Always seen it. I was like this thing looks corny and weird and I gave it a shot and new season two comes out this week, so it's it's not bad. So, yeah, all right.
Speaker 1Well, um, I definitely want to say thank you so much for these nuggets, raymond. And here goes a plug especially for Apple TV Oyster. And what was the other website? Snopes? What is it? Snopes, snopes.

Speaker 2all right, ladies and gentlemen, now into the sports. All right, let's get so. Uh, college football. College football is out, uh, been out, yeah, almost. At the bowl games. Uh, if you guys have a favorite team, speak now.
Speaker 1Forever hold your peace what do you think raymond, who you think is going to bring it home?
Speaker 3uh ohio state ohio state.
Speaker 1Yeah, I thought so too I think they're like 10 point favorites right now yeah, yeah, you think so okay, yeah, okay what do you thought about that game that happened last week down south in Miami, the Notre Dame?
Speaker 3Yeah, that was good. Yeah, that was crazy, because Penn State I can't believe this is a stat, but their wide receivers had zero catches, zero catches, yes, wow.
Speaker 1They had zero catches. They're not going to win a bowl game on that, yeah.
Speaker 3So that was crazy. I've never seen anything like that in my life. But yeah, that was, yeah, an state loss. But yeah, I hate Notre Dame. They're kind of like the Cowboys of college football.
Speaker 2Notre Dame, Notre Dame is. I haven't heard Notre Dame since that movie Irish came out.
Speaker 3So yeah, everybody hates Notre Dame, but they're in the championships. Yeah, they are so yeah, Ohio State better beat them.
Speaker 1Yeah, I'm thinking Ohio State is going to bring it home also.
Speaker 2Yeah, All right, hockey, hockey is on. Actually, hockey has been playing on TV a little bit more since football is not around, but other than that, hockey is doing good. Toronto is number one, one game up from your Florida Panthers. Toronto's number one, one game up from your Florida Panthers. You know the kind of name is that Wimpening Jets.
Speaker 1Anyway.
Speaker 2Vegas Knights are up there and stuff like that, and my Rangers are all the way down on the bottom. I don't know what the fuck is going on over there. Season's just getting started. Season's getting started. Red Wings are also a little bit down on the bottom. Tampa Bay Lightning's are under Florida. It is what it is Soccer, soccer's going on. Ladies and gentlemen, if you guys like soccer, it is playing for your international. La gente de gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. I will do it longer, but it's not right now. Boxing Fury retires. I don't know if you've seen that or not. My man Fury, former heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, announced his retirement on social media. He is gone. I thought they were going to have another fight. I thought he was going to fight Joshua, but I guess not. That could be a big, a big fight Before he leaves. I don't know what it is.
Speaker 1But he said nah.
Speaker 2He said nah, big fights coming up February coming up Shakur versus Floyd, something to watch. March 1st Mr Javante Davis Versus Laman Rich Rose Jr. March 15 Tefano Lopez versus Matias. I'm down to watch that fight. And last but not least, I don't know if it's true or not Canelo against Mr Crawford might be happening in September. Yeah, that's all that Something might be a good heavyweight fight going on.
Speaker 1Yeah, that would be a super fight right there, that's like the boss fight right yeah, final boss but they're gonna hold on until the end of the year and drag it, drag it the whole year probably yep, yep, uh.
Speaker 2Nba basketball. Uh, cleveland's boarding like a champion. Shout out to those clevelands cavaliers out there. You know it is was boston. I don't know how the fuck they make it a second place, those bastards in my neck. So right, right, right, right under them.
Speaker 1That's why it's like that, right it is.
Speaker 2Miami. Butler's having some issues, Don't want to fucking play. I'm not too sure what's going on with Butler. He doesn't want to play in Miami.
Speaker 1Probably want to get traded.
Speaker 2Want to get traded, but they are in seventh place. Philly is on.
Speaker 1You like this listen. Eleventh place.
Speaker 2I like Embiid Embiid. Where is that? He's on the fucking bench.
Speaker 3Figure that out. He's injured.
Speaker 2Yeah, he's always injured. I never pick him up In my fantasy anyway.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2It is what it is. Oklahoma my man Shy Doing his thing, shout out to them. Memphis, grizzlies Doing his thing. Nuggets in 4th place. Don't know how that happened. Lakers, all the way down. Let me go way down. Hold on, keep scrolling, lakers. Yeah, seventh place. I'm amazed they're not in fucking 11th. I'm shocked Right now.
Speaker 1I mean for some.
Speaker 2like I said, I feel like these Lakers man, they should be all the way down the bottom, but every time on black and white. They managed to be a little bit more up where it is supposed to be, which I find that very hard to believe Maybe that's what they're just playing, just playing for the numbers, I don't know. Yeah, playing for the numbers. Lebron he's on his G League. You know we're trying to figure him out. It is what it is.
Speaker 1LeBron trying to go play with Steph Curry, other shit, shit. You think so that's what he wants. I'm not too sure. You know, whatever they do, wow, can you imagine that? I can't, I don't even know, I don't even know how that's possible you know, the goat aka.
Speaker 2The goat wants to play and play with another girl uh I have no idea how that works, because jordan never did that shit no, jordan held it down but it is, you know, it's anywhere.
Speaker 1It is what it is I don't even know how I feel about that, like if I think lebron should retire in la or go back to cleveland and then retire, but going to golden state to go try to get another championship yep, I don't know.
Speaker 2I mean why doesn't he get uh doing weight out of retirement?
Speaker 1maybe they can go back and start playing together and shit I mean I don't know, I don't know about he's scuttling up.
Speaker 2I don't agree with that. I also want to have a big issue with the NBA commissioner. Listen, I don't know what the fuck you guys doing for All-Star. I've never seen people two coaches picking fucking players out. I've never seen that in my life. This is a new thing. That's been going on for several years. Um, it doesn't work like that, uh, because if you're garbage, you're, how the f**k you going to the all star game to the all star correct okay.
Speaker 2So, uh, I don't know. And my understanding, east has the east squad, west has a west squad. If you're in the f** the east, you can't nominate somebody in the west because you want them on your team. It doesn't work like that.
Speaker 1You guys have opinions about that yeah, because I get very upset by hearing this bullshit.
Speaker 2I see that and this is your people, who's your people?
Speaker 3lebr James. I mean he didn't come up with this. I mean they need to go back to the original East versus West. He's just I don't know. They've been trying this out for a few years now and the players don't like it. It sucks. I agree with D-Hustle. They're just trying to spark some excitement.
Speaker 2Spark my ass. I don't got time for that bullshit.
Speaker 1All-stars are East versus West.
Speaker 3They're just kind of trying this whole new thing.
Speaker 2It hasn't been working, so and it's not even that You're sitting down two NBA All-stars sitting down. Let's say he's in the Cavaliers. Well no, no, let's say now he's in the Lakers, I'm going to pick Jimmy Butler. He's in the East. Why it's the East versus West? It's been like that for years, years. Now you're nitpicking.
Speaker 1I don't know, I don't even see the reasoning behind it.
Speaker 2One minute is you guys putting your votes for a star? Yeah, to go to the all-star. Now you put in your votes for the all-star and you get all these players nominated to become an all-star. Now you're gonna sit down and say, well, I don't want him in the meets, I want to. At the end of the day, you can pick a gangster phenomenal squad, but it doesn't make any sense for me.
Speaker 3It doesn't make any sense for me.
Speaker 2I don't know, but that's just me. I don't know nothing about basketball.
Speaker 1He said I don't know nothing, you know this is new thing here.
Speaker 2It is new thing with the freaking banner. As far as in-house.
Speaker 1Or mid-season championship thing, mid-season championship crap, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 2You know I don't want to stand Shout out to who the heck won. I don't even know. Anyway, that's all I got for basketball All-stars coming up next month.
Speaker 1D-House is not happy about that. You know, it is what it is. Where's the all-star?
Speaker 2game at this year.
Speaker 1Eats me? Nobody eats me it used to be so much fun.
Speaker 3I used to thought that the NBA had the best all-star. Now it sucks. I think baseball has the best all-star now, so I used to thought they killed the all-star of all the sports. But it just kind of sucks now man.
Speaker 1Well, we're sending this message directly to the commissioner D-Hustle called you out All of this.
Speaker 3It just sucks yeah.
Speaker 2Yep, it's sucking. It is what it is. Other than that we're going to go and jump to football.
Speaker 1Oh, NFL.
Speaker 2NFL Great games. A couple games passed by. Chiefs had a bye week, Texas and Chargers. Texas took advantage of the Chargers 32-12. Ravens handling the Steelers 20-17.
Speaker 1Yeah, the Dixon family was happy about that.
Speaker 2And the Bills 31-7 against the Broncos.
Speaker 1Win or go home.
Speaker 2Now is the Chiefs versus Texas and Bills versus Ravens.
Speaker 1Bills versus Ravens. What do y'all think about that?
NFL Playoff Predictions and Analysis
Speaker 2and bills versus ravens. Bills versus ravens what do y'all think about that? Um, I am going to you know what. I'm gonna let raymond answer that, because I got a prediction that I don't want him to steal my shit.
Speaker 3First off, I hate how the seating felt like that to where kc gets a walk in the park you think it's a walk-in park yeah, they get to play the Texans. I felt that's crummy. They should be playing.
Speaker 2But in the number one seat.
Speaker 3I get it, but they're playing. Okay, that's, yeah, that's fine. They're number one seed, but yeah, I get it. They did their thing, but you got the bills and the Ravens to MVP candidates going. I wish that one of those teams would have been playing KC next week.
Speaker 2Yes.
Speaker 3I agree on that. That's bull crap. They got to play the Texans. That's a walk in the park, but that's just my thing. Kc will win that game. And then the two heavyweights, the MVPs. Yeah, I'm going to go with Lamar, so I know everybody wants to give it to Josh Allen. But, Lamar's the MVP. You can't side with the bill not just that he's just. He has like almost a thousand yards rushing, yeah, 4 000 passing yeah, and he only has like three or four picks.
Speaker 3Yeah, I mean, yes, josh allen beat better teams this year, um, but yeah, and I think the ravens are gonna beat them. So that's my prediction I.
Speaker 2I would like to see the ravens take care of business, uh, but I'm gonna have to go with the bills.
Speaker 1Okay, you're gonna go with the bills I You're going to go with the.
Speaker 2Bills, it's going to be a how do you call it? An upset.
Speaker 1That's what I call it.
Speaker 2It's going to be an upset. The reason why is Josh is going to make some crazy shit. He's been there before. Actually, to tell you the truth, I think Josh wants Kansas City.
Speaker 1You think he wants to knock out Kansas City?
Speaker 2You think he wants to. He wants to knock out Kansas City. He can taste it, but Lamar's hungry. I'm all about Lamar. I had him in my fantasy league. He's doing phenomenal. I wouldn't see him and Henry handle business. Zay Flowers is a little hurt, but let's see what happens. I'm rooting for Lamar. I am rooting for him, but I already see what's going to make money.
Speaker 1I'm rooting for.
Speaker 2Lamar. I am rooting for him, but I already see what's going to make money. He's going to see Kansas City and the Bills.
Speaker 1Yeah, Kansas City is definitely going to make money. How about the other four?
Speaker 2teams.
Speaker 1You got the Commanders and Lions. Well, I'm getting to there. Let me finish the AFC.
Speaker 2Now I'm in the NFC.
Speaker 3My bad, my bad, my bad, holy crap, let me. But again, it's Josh. Josh is a beast. Yeah, he's a beast. He's a big boy, he's a big guy too.
Speaker 1He's a big guy yeah.
Speaker 2And there's no determination of who he's going to pass to.
Speaker 3Yeah.
Speaker 1At the end of the day, the.
Speaker 2Ravens you already know who they're going to pass to.
Speaker 1That's what I was going to ask you the receiving core. So we got to define the quarterback, but the receiving core you think it builds us more stronger.
Speaker 2Right Right. Nfc Lions got a bye week. Rams took care of the Vikings last night off rip. I knew Rams was going to handle business. I was very disappointed in Mr Donald.
Speaker 3Yeah, I didn't see that coming. I was like damn it was crazy, Great game Buccaneers and Commanders.
Speaker 2Washington handled that, took Buccaneers out and Eagles and Packers man, that was just another thing. I mean, Packers were there, but they were not there.
Speaker 1Yeah, makes sense.
Speaker 2So Eagles and Rams I see Eagles winning that game Commanders and Lions tough, tough, tough game. I feel Lions will take that.
Speaker 1Over the Commanders.
Speaker 2Over the Commanders.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2But we'll see what happens If he throws more. I mean I would say Commanders, but I wouldn't mind seeing Commanders and Eagles again after that upset that Commanders did to the Eagles to win that game. But you never know.
Speaker 1Yeah, and then the Rams and Eagles. Who are you calling?
Speaker 2Rams and Eagles oh. Eagles, eagles, yeah, I mean even though Rams look great and you got Don Shultz's grandson on defensive coordinator there doing his thing. They showed up last night but there's no Donald there, so I'm very amazed Rams did what they did last night. That was impressive.
Speaker 3Donald is not going to be re-signed. Yeah, donald.
Speaker 2But I'll take him. The Giants will take him, we'll take him. We need a quarterback, yeah.
Speaker 1How about you, raymond? What are you calling for? The lions and commanders? Yeah, the buck stops.
Speaker 3Come on, rookie. They had a great year. But come on, there's no rookie that's gonna go to super bowl. Hey, yeah, he's gonna lose. Like he needs to be humbled, the jaden kid right yeah no, like we can't have a rookie go all the way like that.
Speaker 2So yeah, he's gonna lose. Maybe you can't give it. Knock the guy he just got there that's what I'm saying.
Speaker 3He needs to be humbled. He can't just go to the super bowl in his first year.
Speaker 1I'm sorry, no so does he get a nice uh badge for that suit first year? He's gonna get rookie of the year. He's gonna get rookie of the year, it's impressive, but nah man, he's gonna lose next week. How about the eagles and rams? What do?
Speaker 3you think uh yeah, eagles got too much yeah too.
Speaker 1Yeah, Eagles got too much, yeah, Too much firepower.
Speaker 3Yeah they got too much, so yeah.
Speaker 1So what do y'all call in the final chip then? So we got eight teams left. Who do y'all think?
Speaker 2As far as what?
Speaker 1Who's going to be in the championship?
Speaker 2In the championship.
Speaker 1Yeah.
Speaker 2Well, I mean, you still got to. It's football, I see Chiefs versus I'm going to say Bills Chiefs versus Bills, even though I want to see Ravens there. You know what? Let's put Ravens and Chiefs on there, and then I'm going to see Lions and Rams, and then we might see Chiefs and Eagles again.
Speaker 1Yeah, yeah, yeah, be interesting, interesting.
Speaker 2Because I know Eagles been been there before, lions haven't yeah, they're hungry though oh, they're hungry yeah but if they can play, I don't need to play. Then I don't see as he moves roger, that all right.
