0061: Beyond the Pixels, How AI Image Generation is Changing Entertainment

• BobbyD, D'Hustle and Raymond...don't call him RayRay

Welcome to a mind-bending journey through the rapidly evolving world of AI-generated imagery. In this episode, we pull back the curtain on OpenAI's revolutionary image generator that's creating visuals so realistic, they're virtually indistinguishable from professional photography. The demonstration we share will leave you questioning what's real and what's artificial.

We make a bold prediction that within five years, the first billion-dollar movie entirely generated by AI will hit theaters. This isn't science fiction – it's happening now, with studios already quietly implementing these technologies in commercials and films. For creative professionals in design, photography, cinematography, and film, this represents both an existential challenge and an unprecedented opportunity.

Beyond the headline feature, our tech roundup covers AMD's powerful new processor challenging NVIDIA, Android's security upgrades borrowed from iOS, and Apple's urgent security patch fixing 62 vulnerabilities. Raymond also introduces practical AI tools transforming how we work, including Fathom for automatic meeting notes and Google's Notebook LM that can turn your documents into podcast-style conversations.

The episode wraps with heated sports discussions focusing on NBA playoff predictions, Russell Wilson's surprising move to the Giants, and the ongoing media feud between LeBron James and Stephen A. Smith. Whether you're a creative professional concerned about AI's impact on your industry, a tech enthusiast wanting to stay ahead of innovations, or simply curious about how these technologies will reshape entertainment, this conversation offers valuable insights into our rapidly transforming digital landscape.

Speaker 1:

ideas around you know, scenes, uh, pictures, angles, um, the way that we talk to ai in terms of how you're able to get the best image is going to be like hey, you have to know about imagery and film, because you're going to be like hey, I need the lights to be at this angle, or I need this type of you know style, of you know image, from oil painting to realistic. Hey, actually make this look like it's printed. Or a picture from a DLSR camera with this type of feature enabled, like it has all of that capability. I'm predicting, within the next five years, we're going to have a movie that is generated by AI that's going to make a billion dollars. I'm totally, for sure, know that there's going to be a time where most movies are going to be created by ai and I can't wait until we we announce the first billion dollar movie created by ai, for sure nice what's going on?

Speaker 1:

y'all welcome, welcome welcome what up t hustle? What's going on people? What's going on player chilling, chilling, chilling. Happy tuesday, happy t Tuesday.

Speaker 2:

April 1st.

Speaker 3:

April 1st no jokes. Today though, no jokes.

Speaker 1:

Raymond, don't call him Ray Ray. What up player.

Speaker 3:

Yes, morning, morning, yeah, yeah, everything's good with you. Player, like you said, April fools, keep your head on a swivel.

Speaker 1:

Stay alert today. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I heard you already got Well audience. Thank you all so much for tuning in to episode number 61, fellas, we are here. The Tech Hustle. Thank you all so much for tuning in, as always, and yeah, we got a pack of shows lined up for us today. Like I mentioned, we already had April 1st. Can you believe it's already April this year is flying, flying.

Speaker 3:

It does not feel like it.

Speaker 1:

It doesn't feel like it, but let me give you a quick run of a show. So we're going to start off with a tech talk today. I'm going to talk about a new feature that just got a release to us. That's going to change the game for a lot of people, like big public service announcement, and then we're going to have D Hustle come up with current events tech news what's we got going on on the tech scene over there? Raymond's Nuggets Sounds like you got AI utilities today. Huh, so you staying in the AI lane today?

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I mean, you can't be the one that's talking about AI every week.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, hey, I'm happy somebody else is right. They need to hear somebody else talking about it. And then Raymond looks like he also has a documentary. He said hopefully y'all watch it this time. That was kind of his opinion about his last recommendation.

Speaker 3:

These gems, these nuggets, are you guys watching them?

Speaker 1:

I mean well, they got to leave them in the comments. So if you are watching the shows that's recommended by raymond, leave them in the comments what you think, and definitely d hustle is always looking for some feedback on technologies and things that we're looking to you know talk about on our show. So don't leave us out there thinking that we the only one that's watching this show, because I know that there's thousands of people around the world tuned in. Leave Leave us some comments to let us know. Especially Raymond want to know if y'all listening to him or not.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

And then D hustle is going to come back around with some sports update. Definitely a lot of stuff going on in the world of sports, and then I got some sponsorship and then we'll close it all out at the end. We all ready for this. Yeah, I mean it always sounds great when, once the show gets started, right, and Raymond said he's not going to, he said don't let Bobby be the only one talking about AI out here today. So I'm looking forward to it.

Speaker 2:

I'm waiting. Yeah, I'm waiting.

Speaker 1:

He's looking nervous over there trying to make sure you got his update on the website, but anyways, I want to say thank you all. So much for tuning in to the Tech Hustle. This is the Tech Talk section and today. So much for tuning in to the tech hustle. This is the tech talk section. Um, and today I wanted to talk to you about a big announcement that came out from open ai. Um, if you don't know who open ai is, first of all, you haven't been watching our show enough. So go watch episode you know from episode maybe 30 all the way forward, because we've been talking about open ai since then, um, but definitely want to let you all know.

Speaker 1:

in terms of OpenAI is a AI lab and their main focus is on building, like a foundational model, and y'all have heard of the word chat GPT. If you haven't, they're the creators of chat GPT. But one of the things that we reported a few months ago on our show here is that OpenAI released a new model called 4.0. Released a new model called 4.0 and it's by far one of the most you know, smartest, uh, easy to use, uh, very and, I say, intellectually wise, highly intellectual ai 4.0 4.0 4.0 for the lettero, not the number o

Speaker 1:

yeah, I don't know where they're coming up with these naming conventions. I hope y'all can do better, because they used to have three, 3.5, and then they did for the letter lowercase O. Yeah, I don't know what y'all doing, but we're trying to follow along. But anyways, this AI itself is by far one of the most used ones that they have on their platform, and if you don't have access to OpenAI, I want to encourage you all to go and install it. It's free right now free 99 for you to at least get the base version of it so you can start to see how this thing works, but, more specifically, take advantage of this new feature that they came out most recently, called image generator. Have y'all heard about this announcement yet?

Speaker 3:

no, I have.

Speaker 1:

I haven't seen it or anything you haven't seen it yet, so we're gonna definitely showcase uh some of uh the things that it has and capable of doing.

Speaker 2:

So for our first time users, first time listeners, welcome. Yeah. So if they're not familiar with OpenAI or ChatGPT, what's the first one you recommend for them to get?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I would say ChatGPT would be the thing that I would encourage everybody to install and also go to their website. You go to their website and I'll actually go to my website in incognito mode and then you'll see how easy it is for you to actually start to interact with it. So if you just go to openaicom, it automatically pops up and you already have access to an AI instance right there. Right, and the cool thing about it is is that there's different versions or tiers to it. So you have an entry-level free version, then you have a paid version, which is $20, and then you have a more advanced version, which is $200. Right now, I'm only paying for the $20.

Speaker 1:

So if you are brave enough and you're more of a power user, somebody that's really using it all the time, there's different models that you can use. There's some that are reasoning models, some that are just doing image reasoning models, some that are just doing image, but the most common one is the one that's 4.0. And I want to encourage you it is too easily accessible to you all for you all not to have it on your phone at a minimum and utilize it every day if you can. And the other reason why I'm bringing this up? Because this stuff ain't going to be free forever. Like I know that Google search kind of set a new standard where if you ever need to Google something, you don't ever have to pay for it. You just go there and search these type of things, these AIs. Right now they're keeping them open so that they can increase the amount of users, but eventually they're going to charge, even for the basic one. So I do want to encourage you all to utilize it.

Speaker 1:

But the cool feature that most recently came out, which is called image Generator, introducing 4.0 image generation, it basically unlocks useful and visible image generation with native multi-model model capable of basically piecing together your thoughts and words into actual image. And the cool thing about it is images is not new in AI. We've seen it online. We've seen a lot of people use AI to create images and things like that, but the thing that's actually new about this newer one is that it creates images almost as if they're real life, like really real life images, and I'm going to scroll down here just a little bit and I dropped inside the discord the link, but take a look at this image here, this image that we're looking at right now, um is a lady that's, you know, on the whiteboard. Um, there's a reflection in the background of the golden gate bridge in san francisco and basically she's been writing some stuff and thoughts on the whiteboard. But what if I told you that this was all generated by ai? Like, look at how realistic that look. That's pretty amazing, right?

Speaker 1:

And the other thing about other image software is that when you basically request one image and let's say that I want to make another version of that image, but I want to keep the same characters I don't want AI to go and create new characters, I want them to use the same people in the image is that this new imagery has the ability to continually use the characters that's already created to update the image itself. So this is the second image that they created and basically showing the camera guy that was actually in the background image here. You see him in the background there and they actually brought him forward and actually put him in the image. And if you look at him and her, I don't know if you can tell, but I can't really tell that that's AI generated. Right, it's getting this good in terms of being able to create what you can imagine or what you can actually write down and the ai will actually generate it.

Speaker 1:

There might be a few iterations that you have to do over and over to try harder to get it to do what you need to do, uh, but this tool is actually real cool because I think, in terms of public service, announcement is, um, if you are in design, if you are in ux ui building, if you are in photography, if you are in media, any type of like film, commercials, long form, short form, documentaries this right here proves to me that whole game is changing and we have to learn how to use it as quickly as possible, because what it is is is that it won't take, uh, basically, to take this picture, you would need a few cameras, a few lightings and perfect settings for this. This is basically I can create anything I want, and I'm more or less just letting you all know that if you are in graphics, design or anything that's an artistic type thing, um, your type of skill set is at risk to be overwritten by ai. Now, I don't think that there will be like um, how can I say a world where we won't have humans create imagery and things like that, but I think that's going to be stuff that's going to be more expensive. It's like ai is going to be able to generate all this stuff, but if it's ai, but if it's human generated, then there will be obviously a more higher cost for it. But the thing that I just want to let y'all know is that it is transitioning so quickly to ai being able to do this, so much so that in the background I actually had a cool image that I wanted to get ai to basically, let's say, you know, you ever watch, like, um, the simpsons cartoons, uh, or, or comics, where they basically take a regular scene and then they convert it into like a cartoon scene or something like that.

Speaker 1:

So what I did was is I took an image that we have on our website of the three of us you know here at the podcast studio. You know it's kind of like one of our kickoff images to show off. You know what we got going on, and I basically asked AI, asked ai, hey, can you go make this image into a cartoon? I haven't seen what it created yet, um, but I'm gonna click behind it and bring up the image below. Well, it says it's still adding details. Let me refresh the screen to see if it's done yet, well, while that loads.

Speaker 2:

oh, there goes there it goes right there.

Speaker 1:

Man, it put some weight on Raymond, yeah it did, yeah, it did oh man, I don't know if I like this.

Speaker 2:

Oh, look at that, Raymond.

Speaker 1:

See you haven't been eating bro and D-Hustle's looking slim as hell. Look at that. That's real accurate. That's accurate, that's accurate, that's yeah, and I'm gonna post this on our instagram, uh, so that you all can see the comparisons of the two pictures. Um, I might make it generate another one, because raymond looks like he's a little little swole here, uh. But, raymond, I mean, you got a few pounds on you playing this image, but.

Speaker 1:

But look how realistic that looks, right in terms of being able to convert that image, uh, into a cartoon. So, if I go back to the original image, it took this image here, right, and basically cartooned for us to give us a different view of what it would look like, right, and it caught some pictures on the wall. It even caught our stickers on our laptops. It caught a little, you know, dj or a roadcaster system and you all holding microphones and stuff like that. So this, this, to me, means that the AI itself can see and then it can actually generate image, which is one of the coolest thing that is being introduced by this image generator is that the 4.0 model itself has the ability to see and generate images as great and good as we want it to be right. Any questions so far.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it looks good yeah, also missing some stickers from my laptop.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's only got the supreme sticker there, but anyways, um, basically, what I've been doing is is, uh, really just trying to? Um, oh, here it goes right here. Who's that?

Speaker 2:

that's chase, that's chase, right, look at that right that's a nice picture, right?

Speaker 1:

that's the picture from off your refrigerator, right? And, uh, I'm waiting for jess to get into town so I can show it to her, uh, but uh, basically we were able to take a portrait of one of our young cousins our nephews, I'm sorry, um, and basically make him into like a cartoon portrait, um, and definitely I thought it did an awesome job, uh, and I can't wait till he sees it. He's going to see himself in a different light, but it basically has the ability to do stuff like that and really just change the game in terms of what we can imagine, but also what we could have. Ai prototype, which is kind of like, the cool thing that I think is really coming up, is like ideas around you know, scenes, pictures, angles, the way that we talk to AI in terms of how you're able to get the best image, is going to be like, hey, you have to know about imagery and film, because you're going to be like, hey, I need the lights to be at this angle, or I need this type of you know style, of you know image from oil painting to realistic. Hey, actually make this look like it's printed, or a picture from a DLSR camera with this type of feature enabled, like it has all of that capability.

Speaker 1:

And the last in TLDR that I want to encourage you all listeners especially if you listen this far is to go try it out, is to go try this tool out so you can see what we've been talking about, but also getting yourself prepared for what's coming, especially if this is something in your lane that you, you know, may have to. You know, utilize it in your job and roles and stuff like that. But yeah, big shout outs to open ai. Um, I think this is a really cool feature. When I first heard it come out I was like another image thing, but no, this is definitely a game changer, for sure the question is how long you think these film directors, producers have been using this.

Speaker 1:

Actually, you know what? The thing that I don't think we notice as consumers is how much they've been practicing to test this stuff out Right. They definitely have been using it. I believe in the Super Bowl commercials there was at least two or three commercials that were AI generated. For sure, movie wise, low key. I've even caught Netflix doing don't you know the voiceover? Don't you know when we're watching like an international movie, and the voice doesn't match with the words that are coming out? Netflix, for sure, utilized this in a movie. I don't know if y'all seen the movie, the one that had sharks in Paris. Did you ever see that movie in Netflix? Sharks in Paris? Yeah, they had Sharks in Paris.

Speaker 2:

I think I've seen that movie. I got to see it. I'm more of a visualized person.

Speaker 1:

There it is. It came out in 2004. Under Paris it's basically there was sharks that were swimming around the canal system in paris, um, but in general, this is a french movie that they're speaking english in and we and they dub their mouths and you can kind of, if you stare a little bit closer enough, you can see that they basically made their mouths sync with the words. That for sure is ai that's doing that. So are our filmmakers using it? For sure they're just not telling us yet.

Speaker 1:

Um, if you are a filmmaker and you want to, you know, let us know a film that you created or something that you want us to take a look at. Hit us up at the tech hustle. We'll definitely give you a review, um, but if you are somebody that's interested in learning how to do this, I want to encourage you go and find out and figure out how to use this stuff, because this is going to be the norm, because this is how films are going to be made, like film studios, actors, actresses, um, producers uh, they're going to be not as much needed to make sure, you know, it's not going to be like the way that we do now. In less than five, less than five years, for sure, one, one hundred percent, I will actually predict that. Um, there are billion dollar movies out there, right, movies that have been around for a bit, uh, for long enough.

Speaker 1:

Let's see top billion dollar movie titanic titanic's a billion dollar movie yeah, avatar, yep, yep game I'm predicting within the next five years we're gonna have a movie that is generated by ai that's going to make a billion dollars wait.

Speaker 2:

I mean, you see there's nothing there that says, saw, right, yeah that's uh unfortunate top gun is on the movie list yeah, yeah, I mean you see fast and furious 7, right yeah wow.

Speaker 1:

But I'm I'm totally for sure, know that there's going to be a time where, um, most movies are going to be created by ai and I can't wait until we we announce the first billion dollar movie created by ai for sure, 100. We're almost there, we're almost there. But anyways, big shout outs to the top topic here. Big shout outs to open ai for this new image generator functionality that's available already in 4.0. It's also available on the free version. So if you do want to test it out, just download the app and pop in an imagery or ask it to build something for you so all right, all right d we got uh tech current news up next.

Speaker 2:

what's up? Player. Good morning, ladies and gentlemen, good afternoon, good evening, wherever are. Thank you for joining the show here. We're going to go ahead and start our current events going on. Shout out to AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D Review is going to be a no compromise CPU for all you gamers, so what does that mean the video? Step your shit up. They're coming for you. They're coming for you.

Speaker 1:

They're coming for you.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, all right. So let me let you know about this beautiful. This beautiful Ryzen is a 16-core processor with a 4.3 gig base clock speed and boost speed of a 5.7. Just like the 2D sibling of the 995X. Just like the 2D sibling of the 995X. The big difference between these two is that the total of L2 and L3 and the 950X has 80 megabytes while the 3D V-Catch technology crams of 144 megabytes in the 950.

Speaker 2:

644 megabytes in the 950. Yeah, by having more of those beautiful things with the rams. Uh, you look out to eight, to ten, as long as long as the amd directors of these technical marketing.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, whenever I hear something about like l3 cache and this is just for everybody else is like when you think about, uh, the way that cpus work, uh, they have to be able to store some of their processing um not inside of the main memory system but locally on the cpu. And if they can do it locally on the cpu it actually makes it faster. Yeah, so getting more l3 or getting more cache inside of where the cpu is is only going to increase performance, and it definitely looks like it's.

Speaker 2:

It's going to make a big difference in this new chip here so the pros is excellent performance, noticeable gaming improvements and relatively cool temperature. The bad news it's $700. For a chip, Just for a chip.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's a price tag. I will say the cool thing that it is, it's cooler. Yeah, definitely More caching system, obviously more clock speed, but for $700, I don't know, I don't know, I don't know.

Speaker 2:

I mean it's always going to be up there. I mean NVIDIA had what it was $500, $600? Yeah, if you guys gaming $100 more you got it yeah, you got it. You want better quality cooling system? You got it. Stop playing around. If you guys going to spend freaking $2,500 for a Vision Pro, you got it. Let's be realistic here.

Speaker 1:

You got that right. But this is going to be for novice people, people that really want to get into tech or get into computing hardware stuff and switch, switch out parts and pieces. Um, it's definitely, the specs look really good. Uh, I'm I'm more or less hoping that amd, in terms of just the chip manufacturer, starts to increase these type of processors to compete with nvidia even more. So they got to start somewhere and I think this is a definitely good, good, good uh, spec. Um, but definitely nvidia. Uh, yeah, I need to step your game up because people are coming for them.

Speaker 2:

They're coming, they're ready. Yeah, and and why is it? Has it a? Hundred dollars more. It's not slower, it's faster.

Speaker 3:

But that's what we're looking for yeah, that's cool, because we haven't heard much from amd, so yeah I mean they, they have their.

Speaker 1:

Well, they do big events now. They do whole conferences and and that's the only way they announce stuff is when it's a big event type stuff.

Speaker 2:

Special next one we have shout out to Android. Android 16 is getting a little bit more secure by stealing iOS features.

Speaker 1:

Wow, this is a turn of the table.

Speaker 2:

Shout out to them because they say if you can do it, why not we? For sure I like it, I feel good about it, great way to get your stepping up your game. Yeah, you know.

Speaker 1:

Because normally and we reported this before Apple always steals what Android does right, yeah. There's cool features that shoot. I couldn't even become an Apple user until they picked up some Android features, but now the table's turned. Yes, it is Wow, Interesting. Well, good job, Google.

Speaker 2:

Let's get these features in there. Good job, google. You know, give me, give you guys another shout out for that, just saying, listen, we're not embarrassed of saying that we're going to steal it.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

We got it. It is what it is. Here is another one here, my next one. You know, I'm really getting tired of Apple. Aye, aye, aye. 18.4 is out, I knew it. Another update. Oh wow, another fucking update. Like seriously, how much updates do we need?

Speaker 1:

For this version right.

Speaker 2:

Yep, did they tell you what it was? Yeah, you know what, because it came out today.

Speaker 3:

Let me let you know exactly what it is Security warning.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah, you know how it is. This update includes eight new emojis, a new sketch style option in image playground Recipe in Apple News+ Enhancement to organize and filter your libraries and photos. This release includes other features, bug fixes and security updates for your iPhone. Now this, as you can see on the camera, it is from my update from this morning, but when you look at the article Let me help you out here you get more details.

Speaker 3:

You get more details.

Speaker 2:

Even though you get the 18.4. It also comes with a warning to update now Because it fixes. It fixes A hefty of 62 security Vulnerability and Wow, some of them are serious.

Speaker 1:

Wow, yeah, I see some of them Malicious apps being able to attempt to pass or enter your passcode to unlock your device. Wow, bro, they definitely put that under the rug when they say, hey, you get all these new things and yeah, we just have a few security updates, just a few security, just a few, not too much.

Speaker 2:

Wow, just 62. Yeah, all these new things. And yeah, we just have a few security updates, just a few, not too much. Wow, just not, you know, just 62 yeah but hey, it is what it is. Uh, unfortunately, we have it, we need it. It has to be done. If you haven't done it, um, apple is not reliable.

Speaker 2:

Just want to get you guys help right now yeah they're not reliable because you haven't updated your software or whatever the case may be. It's supposed to be important, but 62 Bro, every other week, every time I do a podcast, there's an update. Why, apple? Talk to me, call me. I'm more than happy to help out any way I can.

Speaker 1:

You take over the whole change control.

Speaker 2:

You take over everything, kid I've done it before. Let me help you out.

Speaker 1:

My guy said we will find out what the real issue is, you know, like, seriously, every time there's always an update.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, update, update.

Speaker 3:

I'm waiting for 19.0 yeah when it's like it's coming two updates a month almost almost at least that you know of.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

And last but not least, this is something different, off topic, if you guys love new watches or into watches Tag came out with the formula Watch An 80s baby.

Speaker 1:

There we go.

Speaker 2:

Used to be Cheap, it's expensive. Now. I'm not gonna give you a cliffhanger, like Raymond does. Used to be cheap it's expensive. Now. I'm not going to give you a cliffhanger like Raymond does. Used to be $400, $500.

Speaker 1:

You're looking at an $1,800 timepiece.

Speaker 2:

I don't know about that. I feel good about it, oh you.

Speaker 1:

Formula.

Speaker 2:

One guys, you got it. That's like a $15 watch for you All, the Formula One people. You know, if you look at it, different colors, different styles.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Really nice watch. Almost look like a Rolex.

Speaker 1:

It does have that Rolex look.

Speaker 2:

But, if you guys want to go ahead and step your game up here and get yourself a nice little tag. They're bringing the 80 babies at home. Some of them might look like a G-Shock, yeah.

Speaker 1:

That's the vibe that I'm getting right there.

Speaker 2:

But it looks really, really cool. I like it. I'm very different on which one I want to get.

Speaker 1:

Because he's very fashionable, right he's? Got to see how many fits it'll work with. Yeah, I got to get something else, or technically, does the watch become the fit? The watch becomes a fit, yeah the watch becomes a fit.

Speaker 2:

I just don't like the price tag of it For $18,. I get myself a little something better.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

But of course this has a collab with Kiff, which is a collaboration they did a while ago for this watch, and now Formula 1 has stepped up their game. But it is what it is. That's cool.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, you're definitely going to notice it on somebody's wrist, though.

Speaker 2:

Yep. So other than that, I'll put another option here, in case you guys want to see a little bit more different colors on it, on Discord, price tags and all that good stuff. Other than that, that is all I got today, gentlemen.

Speaker 1:

Roger that. Thanks so much, d-hustle. As always, some good, good, good, good updates on the tech side of the house. Now we got my guy raymond don't call him ray ray uh, he said ai utilities is the topic today. Um so what you got going on player so I got some uh utilities for you.

Speaker 3:

They're going to be all focusing on ai and uh, full disclosure here. I've never used this utility. This strictly came from a user or a listener, I'm sorry and they sent this to me. They're like hey, you should talk about this. And I was like, okay, I checked it out a little bit. Now, like I said, I've never used it, but I like the concept of it. It's called Fathom. So basically what this is, it's some kind of AI utility that takes notes in the background. So let's just say, if you're on a zoom call or a team's meeting or anything like that, this AI works in the background and it takes all the notes for you so you can just focus on the meeting. That sounds really really cool.

Speaker 3:

So yeah it does all the notes, it transcribes it. It can convert it to like 28 different languages. And yeah, it's called fathom, something to check out. Like I said, I've never used it, but one of our listeners said hey, you should talk about this on your podcast.

Speaker 1:

I was like oh, that's cool, yeah, I didn't even know they had such a thing. So yeah, this is uh, pretty cool yeah, I've been seeing these note taker apps, uh, pop up even more, as of late, um, especially when you go to meetings like we, you you know we've done some meetings on some webinars, stuff like that, and like a few different ones come up on note takers.

Speaker 1:

Some of them we have to tell them hey, you can't even have note takers on there because we want the space to be more private, and you know so, so that you know people aren't saying, oh, something's recording. But the functionality of what it provides is amazing If you think about it. You ever been in a meeting and somebody said something and, number one, you forgot what they said they were going to agree on, or, uh, in meetings you didn't designate someone as the note taker and then you asked like, hey, did anybody take notes? Nobody took notes and or nobody recorded the meeting and stuff like that. Um, yeah, this is definitely something I think, um, as people get more customized to it, which I would say people are almost there because they they pop in all the time and meetings that I've been going through. Um, but, yeah, this is definitely one, one of many um, cool note-taking apps that are out there, powered by ai. Um, but, yeah, some cool stuff.

Speaker 3:

Thanks a lot, raymond yeah, no problem yeah so, uh, another one here, another ai tool this one I have used it a few times. It's pretty cool. I wanted to drop it in here. So it's been out for a few years now. It did recently get like an update last year that kind of brought some hype to it. I know bobby d has used it. I've used it a couple times in my toastmasters meeting.

Speaker 3:

I actually did a speech about it in my toastmasters club and I did a whole presentation like a show and tell, showed the folks how to use it in my club, so I wanted to drop it in here. I'm pretty sure I have not talked about it in our podcast, so it's called Notebook LM. It's from Google. Really really cool too. I was trying to tell my son about it too. So it's another note type taking tool, but it's a little bit different. So what it does is like it takes all of your notes. Like, however you have your notes, if you've got them written down, if you got them electronically or you know, you just upload all of your notes, whether it's a text, whether it's a PDF or Word document. You can even upload websites in here and audio files. And what it does is the AI composes it and it just like kind of transcribes your notes for you. It's pretty cool. It can transcribes your notes for you. It's pretty cool. It can make like a study guide for you. It could make a cheat sheet for you, like um, like I was trying to tell my son, you know, because he's really bad at taking notes I'm like, hey, check this tool out, write your notes on, and this thing can make like a study guide, a cheat sheet. It's pretty cool. And then the really, really best feature that I like about it is you could take all of your notes, you could put any type of text on here and you can convert it to an audio. So there's a feature on there where you can convert it to an audio and it's two people talking and it sounds like real people and basically they're talking about your, your document, and it sounds like a podcast. So basically it converts it to like a podcast and it's it cool. So I took one of my speeches from my Toastmasters Club Bobby D and D Hustle and I converted it on this thing and it made a podcast of one of my speeches and I played it for my Toastmasters Club and it sounded like two real people talking about my speech. So it was pretty sick.

Speaker 3:

How was the audience? The audience was like blown away. Yeah, it's pretty cool. So, yeah, let's just say you got like a book or anything and you don't feel like reading it. You can upload it into this thing and it will convert it to like an audio file for you. Yeah, you can listen to that book or whatever it is that you don't feel like reading. So, yeah, it's free as long as you got a google account, it's um, yeah, I think it's pretty cool. So, yeah, it's called notebook lm yeah, this is definitely amazing tool definitely an amazing tool.

Speaker 1:

We've actually featured this, probably like three months ago Okay, I don't know if you remember we were talking about the data center project.

Speaker 3:

Oh yeah, you remember that, right, yes, that was actually Notebook LM.

Speaker 1:

So bringing it up and letting everybody know, in terms of the continued use case beyond what we had talked about three months ago, is like it is definitely getting better than when we even did that episode three months ago, because now, um, you can have more, uh, different type of voices and I think you can actually have more than two characters in it.

Speaker 3:

Oh, you're gonna have different voices.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, yeah, so you can actually take this to the next level in terms of, and their real basis for this tool is, I think, the use case that you were talking about, where you kind of like centralize all your notes into one place and then you have like an ai that could, uh, do more multiple things, including create a podcast, um. But it can be like this, the place for you to kind of understand how everything is is working together. That's what I was using it for, because I had this idea of you know um that had you know few, few. You know five or six docs and then, like you know another 10 docs that are online that I want to all mesh it all together to kind of give me like a, a perfect view. Notepick lm um is definitely a great tool for that.

Speaker 3:

So, uh, yeah, thank you so much for that one, yeah I remember when it came out, I I kind of abandoned and I was like, yeah, I don't really see no use on this. And then I went back and started playing with it and I, like I said, I showed it to my club and Toastmasters and showed my son it. Yeah, it's a pretty cool tool.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 3:

It's good it's got some good use.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, for sure, for sure, I would and then like to test this thing out, play around with it, see how to use it, but also get the experience that we've been talking about on the show. And yeah, especially when we bring something back up again, it's a really cool tool. So, definitely big shout outs to Notebook LM. They're definitely doing some cool stuff.

Speaker 1:

I will say one thing and I think Google and this is probably one of the things that I think Google does unintentionally, but it does cause confusion when people are trying to figure out what tool to use is that Google has like these tools in all different type of places. Right, you need to know about Notebook LM, you need to know about Gemini, you need to know about this system or that system, versus like one centralized place for all of that to go to. I think they're working towards that called AI, studio, studio or studio ai, uh, but things like this needs to be moved into the studio so it's more centralized. So people don't you know number one, don't know about it, or lose, lose, uh, interest in it, or hey, I thought I heard something about it, but it all is centralized. So hopefully google y'all can step up that you know experience for us consumers of your product, because sometimes I even forget about notebook lm.

Speaker 3:

let's have it all in one centralized place, and then we can, you know, utilize these tools even more yeah, when I had showed the club this and my toastmasters, like you said, bobby, did they never knew about it you know, like they're big google people but yeah, like google, I don't know. They sometimes don't know how to market or, like you said, it's like hidden. Yeah, unless you I don't know. But yeah, you're right.

Speaker 1:

So yeah, it's like I. I gotta be in in the ecosystem and correct to to really know when they come out with something new, rather than it's all built into one right um I don't know I mean google. Still do you feel like they've caught up to open ai yet?

Speaker 3:

or, uh, I mean you would know more than I would. Yeah, you're like more of the ai guy. I would say so, yeah, but I feel like open ai is like the microsoft, like everybody just knows. Open ai like I don't know what they're doing with their marketing.

Speaker 1:

But it's like I don't know.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, just like when you think of ai, you think of them correct, correct.

Speaker 1:

And even when you say I ai people just think of chat, gpt open ai right, they don't think about anything else? Um, but yeah, it's definitely. How can I say? Um, I think google is making grounds, especially with their gemini ai have y'all heard of gemini before.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, there's notebook. Lm uses the gemini 2.0.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, for sure so, um, but in general that that, that gemini um model itself. I think branding wise is starting to get a little bit better, like People are starting to notice it, but I would prefer it to be all centralized under one place, especially if they're already using Gemini. Why not just have this built into Gemini? That's another story, raymond. Thank you so much for that nugget there. Definitely check out Notebook LM, highly recommended. What else you got on your list here? I think you got a show that you was going to be talking about.

Speaker 3:

So I think last week I gave you guys a great movie you did, you did, I did. What was the movie last week? It was Last Breath. Did anybody check it out? Last Breath?

Speaker 1:

Yes, it's on my list.

Speaker 3:

Okay, so great movie based on true story Very movie. So this week I figured I'd change it up. I'm going to give you guys a documentary. I watched this documentary actually a couple weeks ago. I was going to talk about it, but I gave you guys the movie instead. This is based on a true story. It's on netflix. Very, very sad. I don't even remember these events happening. I guess it happened during when obama was president. It just goes to show you how much I pay attention to the news, which, um, yeah, this is a really sad story. I watched the the uh documentary on netflix and, man, I gotta say man, if you are easily person to cry, be prepared. This uh documentary is called the twisters.

Speaker 3:

I believe, yeah, it was a real incident that happened at this small town called japlin, missouri, and I don't I don't remember this yeah, I mean I didn't pay attention to it, but yeah, I watched this and I was like man, it was really sad. It was great obama's in it a lot, because you know he went and visited them and stuff like that. But uh, yeah, highly recommend this. It's called the twister caught in the storm. It's uh true events that happen. Uh, very good. So if you're into documentaries and stuff like that, check it out.

Speaker 1:

So I can definitely give you a plus one on this one. You watch this one.

Speaker 3:

We watched it. Okay, cool Me and my wife, you watch it.

Speaker 1:

Uh, it is definitely a really good um, like, like behind the scenes, of someone actually going through a tornado, like the details that they're describing, and I even think, like just even some of the sounds that they were creating, so that you can understand what they experience.

Speaker 3:

it was terrifying yeah, death defying experience kind of pisses me off because I'm like we got all this great technology I know this is like whatever like 10 years ago or whenever this happened like don't they have advanced notice to get the hell out of the way when a twister's coming? I don't understand this.

Speaker 1:

I'm not I'm not gonna, I'm not gonna give away the whole story.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, but.

Speaker 1:

I will say that I don't know if this has Happened to y'all. It's definitely me working in tech. This is why emails for me sometimes don't really effectively get my attention. I used to get emails too much right, especially when you're in IT, you're writing programs and you're writing software that alerts you when something breaks right. So my phone is always ringing, always ringing, always ringing. So much so that you start to ignore your phone ringing when you get an email because you know it's like ah, and the reason why I brought this up is that that actually happened in that town is that the siren went off but, they heard the siren so many times that they were like, ah, this ain't nothing, ah, this is just another siren, right, they started to really ignore the siren.

Speaker 1:

So I'm not saying that the the systems were not there. I think the systems were alerting them timely, wise, I think it could alert them sooner. But also the people there. They got used to and be like, oh, this is just another storm passing by, it's, it's probably too far. And then, yeah, it was a real one. Um, that's crazy, yeah.

Speaker 2:

So yeah, the answer to your question is no, they don't have uh preparation uh for that.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, um, not like we do when we have hurricanes facts okay, uh, they do have those alarms, alarms that you see and stuff like that but again, at the end of the day, that's their problem, that's their fault, because that is the only way, knowing that you do not have any type of like notice for these twisters and not hurricanes, but these beautiful, whatever it is, weather systems, yeah, weather systems. The alarm is you got to take that seriously. Yeah, you can't just be, it's just another. You remember back in the days you used to watch TV, you used to have those annoying noises. Yeah, those alarms.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, yeah, this is just a test. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2:

I had one noises, yeah, those alarms, yeah, this is just a test. Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's the same thing over there, things like this, like I'm assuming it's out west, like in, uh, idaho or central.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's definitely montana and all that you gotta have but, but they get those alarms all the time.

Speaker 3:

I'm I mean it's, it's definitely, but then again, look how, like when somebody gets kidnapped, we get all of that on every phone For sure. I mean, it's got to be something. I'm sorry, I don't know.

Speaker 1:

I mean, I think the thing is is that society has to be reactive to these things. If they're not, then they run into the case where you're going to get caught up in the middle of the storm, right? I mean, there was one, one group of, uh, teenagers that were driving around town and they were like, oh, I heard the sirens, but I just kept going right and it was like, uh, what does that siren mean, bro? And then they get. You know, I'm not going to give too much, but they basically had a situation in there, um, and there's one of the ones that really got me like choked up a little bit, because I'm thinking about my kids, like my daughter's 18.

Speaker 1:

I know she goes hang out and you know that that's a death defying experience, um, but yeah uh, great great movie, though great great documentary yeah, in my opinion.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, highly recommend it. So, yeah, check it out. The twister it's on netflix caught in the storm.

Speaker 1:

So yeah, netflix, y'all need to send us a check. For sure, I'm waiting for it. And this one, you know I'll give you, you know I'll give you a little bit for this one, some sometimes, the other ones, oh well, okay, we're gonna leave that alone. We're going to the next segment. Three for five here. We'll have, we'll have a team meeting after.

Speaker 2:

Okay, I think I'm shooting like 90 on these 90 yeah, I'd say like I'm shooting 85 to 90 on these.

Speaker 3:

Okay bro, I'm about to put you in the deal. We need to put a poll out for the listeners.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, for sure about to have you play pickup ball thinking you're in the nba. But anyways, uh, that's a great segue. But, raymond, thank you so much for your nuggets, as always. Uh, great, some great, some great tools, utility tools and, um, next up, we got my guy d hustle with some sports man. What's going on? What's going?

Speaker 2:

on all right sports. Here we go, nhl. If your beautiful nhl league is going on right now for 24, 2025, uh, toronto leaves are stepping up the game. They say yo, we're not staying behind. Tampa bay, right number two. Number three is your beautiful florida panthers. Wow, they dropped a little bit. Not too sure what's going on over there. You got to ask the guy on my left-hand side. Maybe he knows a little bit more information.

Speaker 3:

They won the chip. They're good.

Speaker 2:

Oh, that saves everything there. Washington Commander I mean Washington Commanders Washington Capitals already clinched, they're not playing around. Also, the Whipping Jets also and the Dallas Stars both clinched. They're not playing around Also, the Whipping Jets also and the Dallas Stars both clinched their playoffs. So they're not taking care of business over there because they say we're just going to sit back and relax. Other than that, that's all I have. For NHL here we go Celebration it's good time. Now we have it. N-c-a-a Celebration it's good time. Now we have it. Ncaa basketball here we go.

Speaker 2:

A lot of games this weekend. Not too sure if you guys seen it or not. Ucla said you know what, we're going to take care of business against Ole Miss. Ole Miss said you know what, that's fine. Lsu, North Carolina State. North Carolina State said yo, I'm taking the L because LSU said we're going to do it for the final. Ucla, LSU for that. And the other side of the regional, regional number two, we have South Carolina against Maryland. Maryland said you know what? We're going to go ahead and take care of that business. Psych. South Carolina said we're stepping up. So South Carolina said we're on. So South Carolina said we on them. For the other ladies North Carolina versus Duke. Good game, Great game. But Duke said we taking care of business, so forget about that. So South Carolina versus Duke. For the final Final four is almost up. It's going to be UCLA versus UConn and South Carolina versus Texas. All right In the other, Carolina versus Texas, All right In the other side. Regional Number four.

Speaker 3:

No, this is ladies. We're still in. Ladies, my bad, my bad.

Speaker 2:

USC took that said you know what? We couldn't have it. Our star is hurt. Uconn said you know what? They scored 31. She said let's handle it 78-64 on that situation. Situation, it is what it is. Texas n t c? U. Texas said we the longhorns, we're gonna have a nice little steak dinner yeah we're gonna go and take care of business.

Speaker 2:

Texas took care, hear that business. Columbia 63. Washington 60. And then Iowa State 68. Princeton 63. And High Point 63. And William Mary 69. So Final Four, as we can say not too sure what's going on over there, but let's move on to the gentleman's basketball, man's basketball, aub there, but let's move on to the gentleman's basketball, man's basketball Auburn, michigan State. Auburn say yo, we're taking care of business. Duke and Alabama. Alabama said I don't know what's going on. We don't know what's going on, duke, they want to take care of business. Let's go to the west side, florida, say you know what, we're taking care of business. We're not too sure how we're taking care of business, but we're going to take care of this business against Texas, Tech and then Houston and Tennessee. I'm very amazed in this one, tennessee took that big L. Houston said we got this. Yeah, they brought it home. They brought it home. So final four it's going to be Auburn, florida, duke, houston, Crazy, crazy matchup.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, who you guys got.

Speaker 2:

Definitely not Florida Wow.

Speaker 3:

Florida's one of the best teams in the country.

Speaker 2:

My friend, is that written in paper?

Speaker 3:

I mean they're one of the best, but we'll see.

Speaker 2:

That's not written in paper. I'm going with Duke, I mean yeah, two things.

Speaker 3:

Duke has the number one player probably, and it's in paper too. Yeah, so obviously I'm going for Florida because I'm a Florida fan. That's where you lost that. Yeah, so I got two things on Duke. They might have the number one pick, and also there was this podcaster. He did a spicy hot take which I thought was trash, but I wanted to throw it to D Hustle. There's a player on Duke. What's the kid's name? White kid.

Speaker 1:

I don't know. The hell is his name Back on air.

Speaker 3:

So can you look him up really quick? I think it's Bobby D, can you look that up?

Speaker 2:

Great player. I know who you're talking about. He's a great white hoe, the spicy hot take is.

Speaker 3:

This sports podcaster said that this kid on Duke right now, the white player, Cooper Flagg there he is. He's saying, yes, that's the hot take right there. That guy, I can't stand him. He said that Cooper Flagg is going to be the best player that's ever came out of Duke. Dehustle your take. That's negative, Correct.

Speaker 1:

Best player out of Duke.

Speaker 3:

Yes, that's come out out of Duke ever Wow.

Speaker 1:

Are they trying to hype just people up? I don't know. I mean, that's what it is.

Speaker 2:

I haven't heard from Katelyn Kirkland in a while, so I mean hype player.

Speaker 3:

I mean, yes, I hate Duke, everybody hates Duke. You know there's one of those teams, but we forget about grant hill. He's in the hall of fame. You have kairi irving right now that's playing. You have jason tatum that went to duke. This kid has not done anything yet, he doesn't even. But hey, that's what I'm saying. We just forget that. You know duke has got a lot of great players to say that a lot of great players.

Speaker 2:

I couldn't agree on that yeah.

Speaker 3:

To say this kid's gonna be the greatest that's ever come out of Duke is crazy. Well, yeah.

Speaker 2:

I don't know what stats he's looking at. Maybe he's looking at his jump shots. Maybe he's looking at his all-around parameter. He might be the next LeBron James.

Speaker 3:

You never know, I don't know, I haven't heard about him.

Speaker 1:

It's not like I've heard about him.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, he's probably going to be the number one pick. He's like you know. Yeah, he's good, so but yeah to say he's going to be the best player out of Duke, we forget about all the greats that came out of Duke Cooper, Flagg, so Scores 16. Yeah, so but yeah, just wanted to get.

Speaker 2:

Soccer is up now. If you guys have a favorite soccer team, soccer is going on here. But shout out to my man, david Beckham, for celebrating his 50th birthday. Other than that, david, Beckham is 50?

Speaker 1:

Yep.

Speaker 2:

Wow, you know, messier, tom Brady, shaq, all in the party handling business, having fun drinking cognac.

Speaker 3:

I have my Messi shirt on right now. Shout out to the GOAT.

Speaker 2:

Shout out to the GOAT One of the GOATs Yep, shout out to them. Other than that, that's all I got for soccer Cricket. Cricket is on right now. If you guys like cricket, cricket is on Some of your favorite channels there. If you don't have cricket on your TV, make sure you watch it. There's a lot of stuff going on in cricket. Hopefully you guys are watching cricket. Shout out to that team, to those teams, yeah. And then we go from there Wrestling. Not too much going on from wrestling. We saw John Cena saying I had. Enough is enough. I'm tired of being the freaking good guy. I'm going to be the bad guy.

Speaker 3:

Nothing has changed Basically.

Speaker 2:

He says to all the fans out there I don't need you, all right. For 25 years I've been the victim of abuse relationship, he declared. All I did was work hard and win, and what I get for it? I got hate. I never got enough for you, damn fans. Wow, Shout out to John Cena for expressing his fucking feelings. I like it. I like it. Wow, keep serving it up. Keep serving it.

Speaker 1:

And he's about to retire, right yeah this is his last run, so any smoke he's about to bring it, he's busy with the Rock right now trying to do another Fast and Furious.

Speaker 2:

Let's see what happens. It is what it is Major League Baseball. Baseball is on finally.

Speaker 1:

Finally.

Speaker 2:

Finally. Having these damn preseasons going on.

Speaker 1:

It is what it is. Didn't you report that they were still having preseason games? They were having preseason.

Speaker 2:

Finally, they decided to have more games going on. Right now it is what it is, because everybody else has three games, but for some reason the Dodgers got six games.

Speaker 1:

Wow.

Speaker 2:

Six games right now in the West. Let's go ahead and talk about it West Dodgers 6-0. San Diego 5-0. San Francisco right under Then we have Central Cardinals 3-1. Cincinnati, pittsburgh, all the way down in the bottom, philadelphia 3-1. Miami 3-2. Not too sure what's going on in that organization. Last year you guys were a bust, now you guys are trying to figure out what's going on. Mets 2-2. Washington Nationals and then the Braves are 0-5. 0-5.

Speaker 2:

Braves, I'm not too sure what's going on in Atlanta, but Atlanta always does a little slow start, or once in the blue moon, not consistently. Then we have the Bronx fucking Bombers 3-0 using illegal bats, not legal bats, some shit like that.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I've seen that on TV it is what it is Congratulations to those Bombers doing fucking 14 home runs in one fucking game. It is what it is Tampa Bay's 3-1. And the Cleveland, the Gardeners, gardeners, whatever you want to call them Cleveland, cleveland, not the Indians, still Cleveland Indians for me, but it is what it is. Kansas City there, los Angeles Lakers and Texas Rangers and it looks like Raymond has a question. What's the question?

Speaker 3:

Raymond, no, I was just saying it's politically correct. You can't say Indians anymore, so For who? It's you know, just putting it out there.

Speaker 1:

Well, we are a DEI sponsored Podcast here yeah.

Speaker 3:

We, we are a DEI-sponsored podcast here. Yeah, we have all kinds of listeners. The space is free. You can say whatever you want. I'm just saying right.

Speaker 1:

D says the history not going to repeat itself. That's all that matters. That's all I got for baseball guys. But let me ask you about the bat though. So what's up with the bat though?

Speaker 2:

So the bat is a different form of basically for the hitters to hit differently. Sometimes they don't hit the ball where they need to be hit at. They hit at a different angle. It's just for them to hit more. There's other teams right now that are using it Washington, I think, Toronto. If everybody's able to use it, I'm able to see more hitting, which is phenomenal, more runs but it's just a way for them to start hitting the ball more.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I mean, is it being questioned if it's a legal bat or it was approved? It was approved.

Speaker 2:

So it is what it is, but they're trying to figure out if they're gonna keep having that for everybody or they're just gonna take it away yeah, at the end of the day. We have to figure it out. I'm not too sure yeah, that was like.

Speaker 1:

Uh, I was on tv and I just kept seeing stuff come up about this bat and I'm like I don't know and but you do see a slight different shape in it, right? Okay but the results are there's going to be more hits.

Speaker 2:

Well, yeah, you know, as you can see, my man, aaron Judge the four home runs, didn't use the bat, so he said he doesn't need it. Yeah, because if something's working for him, why change it? Why change it?

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Everybody else is using it in his club. It is what it is, yeah. Next subject here Formula uh, has been going on. If you haven't seen the lou, uh, the louis vuitton australia, australia was a good race for, shout out to mclaren. Mclaren handling business there, uh. And then ferrari all the way number eight, uh, for that thing. And then if you haven't seen the heineken Chinese Grand Prix, mclaren taking care of business, again, number one, number two and Mercedes, where beautiful Lewis Hamilton used to be, it came in number three. And then the Ferrari all the way down in the bottom, number 18. Coming up right now is the Lenovo Japanese. On April 3rd to April 6th, let's see who will take care of that business. I'm rooting for you, ferrari. You still got it. Louis, stop playing around, let's get down to business. Alright, next NFL Wow Giants. I heard Fucking Russell Wilson. Come on.

Speaker 1:

A big round of applause. No D said.

Speaker 3:

Raymond, you said you've been there. No, no, I've been just waiting. Okay, okay, to not say anything to D Hustle here, so I've been nice.

Speaker 2:

Russell, fucking Wilson. I'm not too sure what's going on within that fucking organization. I'm still confused. My clubhouse is confused, the coaching is confused, the general manager is confused, the vice president is confused. Everybody in that fucking organization is confused. The only one that's not confused is the confused people.

Speaker 3:

I have a question what is the giants doing?

Speaker 2:

I should be asking you that. That's just. I don't understand I don't understand this.

Speaker 3:

They have like a top three pick or top four top three. Okay, this makes no sense. I I don't get it.

Speaker 2:

I don't understand it um, I don't think you've been listening to this podcast well, this doesn't make any sense because, if I understand this podcast, I've been saying the giants been confused for a good minute.

Speaker 1:

He's asking me what's wrong with the giants. Yeah, yeah, yeah, he thought there was just probably something that you were mentioning, but now it's really really confusing I believe it now like it's a giant's fan on my job too.

Speaker 3:

He's just, he's about to jump off of a cliff but come on westbrook, he got championships in his belt you know, I mean, that's fine bobby, but that's not.

Speaker 2:

They're not the answer they're not there for like maybe a year you need a future quarterback.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I don't understand it, but hey you just signed a one-year contract.

Speaker 2:

Oh, it's just a one-year, one-year contract. Uh, a fortune, and I think it's 21, 22 million dollars it is. But did we, did sign, uh, james, james as well also it's $21, $22 million. Damn it is. I'm good at it, but we did sign. Winston Jameis Jameis as well, jameis Winston, the Giants are still looking at Sanders. Why Excuse me?

Speaker 1:

Giants still looking at Hunter, I mean you only got one year, bro. Okay, I don't know if they're going to have a position to get Sanders, though you think so I mean they're definitely in the first round, yeah 21 years, including a $10.5 million guarantee.

Speaker 2:

21 years, you said, I'm sorry, $21 million, okay, including a $10.5 million guarantee to the beautiful dip. So here's the fun fact Russell Wilson did not want to come to the Giants. Wow, of course, because the Steelers couldn't figure out what the fuck they wanted to do. Steelers still looking for Aaron Rodgers? Yeah, but now that they sent him, got him guaranteed money. Wilson said why not? Yeah, If you'd like to end your career, this is where it's at. Get that last payday.

Speaker 1:

It is what it is. You think he's out the door after this who who? You think he's out the door after this who?

Speaker 2:

I want to see how he produces with the own line that we have.

Speaker 1:

That I've been saying for a while that we need to replace Okay, okay, okay, I get it. Is he injury? Prone Injury prone yeah. What do you mean?

Speaker 2:

when you say injury prone, he's not injury prone, really no you sure Does he get hurt easy.

Speaker 1:

He played last year all year, Does he?

Speaker 3:

get hurt easy. He played last year all year. But I mean, you know Steelers have a better line, but it just doesn't make any sense to me. Yeah, I don't get this pick. I mean this signing.

Speaker 2:

It is what it is. I'm assuming the Giants did this. The only thing I can come to my head is that they're not going to get a quarterback for the first two. Yeah, and that's the only reason they got a.

Speaker 3:

They're going to get Hunter now. They're going to get.

Speaker 2:

Hunter, which they are looking at anyway. Sanders does want to play for the Giants, he says. Hopefully we pick him up. I'm all about it, maybe Dion can come to the organization.

Speaker 1:

Look at him.

Speaker 3:

You see all of that so that he can get to a point like that. Actually, Dion just signed a five-year contract With Colorado. Yeah, he just got paid with Coloradoado like 55 mil, so take that out your window and you see that here.

Speaker 2:

Maybe, maybe that's fake news and so I see that on on paper.

Speaker 3:

Yeah and it is what it is yeah, uh, continuing to uh nfl here.

Speaker 2:

Stefan diggs went to new england patriots. Uh, three years, 69, 26 million guarantee. Who the fuck is going to throw to him, I have no idea.

Speaker 3:

Very funny. Yeah, obviously we know the rumors. I don't like to get into the rumor man who Stefan Diggs is dating. Have we seen that? Have you guys?

Speaker 2:

seen that. Nah, I'm not Anyways who.

Speaker 3:

Stefan Diggs.

Speaker 2:

Who he's dating, the celebrity? It's not Cardi, right, yeah, cardi B.

Speaker 1:

Oh, he is yeah, so.

Speaker 3:

I don't know if you guys saw, cardi B was announced.

Speaker 2:

They're not dating.

Speaker 3:

Well, supposedly.

Speaker 2:

It's a fling Okay so whatever.

Speaker 3:

So, anyways, I saw the owner for the Patriots brought out Cardi B and he was dancing with her, so I was like, oh okay, interesting. I wonder if that's why they signed that guy.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I don't know. So Robocraft, was that the show? Him dancing at the end, cardi B back in stage, it is what it is See what you did there, patriots.

Speaker 3:

I'm like okay, that's how they closed the deal, but Robocraft is that type of guy he likes to handle he does like to hang out with the hip-hop crew.

Speaker 1:

He likes to get massages here too. That's true.

Speaker 3:

You're right, he is a very hip owner, so yeah, Can't hate on the guy it is what it is, not at all.

Speaker 2:

Can't worry, might be number one pick I am. I wish we can pick him up, but we never know. It is what it is. Yeah, I'm not too sure what's going on. That sucks, and Aaron Rodgers Can't figure out what the fuck he wants. Wants to do, so hopefully he can figure it out he might not play this year, you think? Yeah, yeah, I might, if he hasn't signed. Uh, I see him good in miami, miami. Oh, I don't want him.

Speaker 1:

Wow, no, he don't want nobody you know he these two are fans, but they just rely on tour.

Speaker 2:

They think tour is like gods for them right now. Tours is not your, just not your answer. He's not.

Speaker 3:

Tyreek Hill is not your answer. I mean, I don't want Rodgers, though.

Speaker 2:

Mark Anthony is not your answer. I hear, you.

Speaker 1:

He's a part owner, isn't he who?

Speaker 2:

Mark Anthony? He's something like that. I don't know what the fuck he is.

Speaker 3:

But I mean, I don't know, I mean If he just stays healthy, he's a top ten quarterback. I didn't say top three or anything like that. When he stays healthy, that's it.

Speaker 1:

I mean he needs to just go back to Green Bay and close his career out, bro. In my opinion, go sit on the bench at Green Bay. Green Bay already has a quarterback, it doesn't matter. Go close his career out, jordan.

Speaker 2:

Love is doing phenomenal over there, doing phenomenal over there. I don't think Jordan Love Is ever gonna fucking leave and plus, I don't think Jordan Love Wants to take the bench.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

After what he's been doing, but he did get hurt. Yeah, we'll see what happens.

Speaker 1:

I don't know. I just feel like Aaron Rodgers Is jumping around Just to go get a paycheck or something like that.

Speaker 2:

I think, personally, he should've stayed In the Jets, even though the first fucking two or three games he got hurt. They got a great wide receivers over there, they got a nice running back. They just need to figure it out.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

But if you need to figure your life out, you're more than welcome to come to the Giants. The Giants are always looking to pick up these fucking garbage, ass players.

Speaker 2:

Wow, it is what it is we're looking for newcomers, new guys. And you see what it is we're looking for newcomers, new guys. Agency. It is what it is, alright. Last but not least, nba, basketball, the basketball, basketball, basketball. Let's get a couple things Going on with basketball. My man, durant Hurt, got a gun About to miss one week. He's confusing the shit out of me. It is what it is. He's in your roster. Is that? He's confusing the shit out of me? It is what it is. He's in your roster. No, you're right. No, you crazy. I had to let him go. I had to trade him up. Zion McCollum out for the season. Crazy. Pelicans are completely out. Two main Prospect it is what it is Out. Now let's get down to business. Cleveland number one Shout out. Here goes a shout out for pen and paper. Mr Raymond Boston In. Guess who else made it? The Knicks. The Knicks are in there. In case you guys haven't seen it yet, they clinch. Yes, basically, they clinch, they clinch are in there, in case you guys haven't seen it yet.

Speaker 2:

They clinch.

Speaker 1:

Yes, yeah.

Speaker 2:

Basically, they clinch, they clinch to play over. It is what it is. And then we have Indiana Pacers and shout out to Detroit, detroit balling. Detroit had a nice little scuffle going on there.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I feel real fucking good about it.

Speaker 1:

Malice in the way in the crowd.

Speaker 2:

You know, I like it Brings back memories. Finally, something Gives character.

Speaker 1:

A lot of character. It gives a documentary for future reference. That's what it is Eliminated.

Speaker 2:

Brooklyn Nets, 76ers Hornets, washington Wizards. Let's go to our favorite Western Conference, oklahoma City. Yeah, favorite Western Conference. Oklahoma City yeah they've been great Oklahoma's so good they clinched everything.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Division Playoffs.

Speaker 1:

First place, first place, yeah, yeah, there's no Second place.

Speaker 2:

Third place they clinched the draw Because, at the end of the day, they are 12 games above Houston 12 games. There's no need for them. I would recommend them just to chill.

Speaker 1:

I put all the players on the bench right. All the players, yeah.

Speaker 2:

But I do not need Shia to sit down because I have my fantasy and shout out to myself. I'm in a championship. Stop playing around. It is what it is for our beautiful. I knew that announcement was coming. For our beautiful NBA championship.

Speaker 1:

Fantasy basketball.

Speaker 2:

Fantasy basketball. Yes, your boy, make it for two years in a row.

Speaker 1:

Champion from last year. Hold on, hold on. You made it into it or you already made it? I'm already in it, all right. All right, so you're competing still, I'm competing. Yeah, it's the championship game, yeah.

Speaker 2:

Right now, as we speak, I'm up 130. Wow, that can change. Wow, that can change. I don't want to say anything here but, I think I fucked it up for myself right now, but it is what it is. Anyway, houston Rock is number two, denver number three, lakers number four, memphis number five. And who's out Pel and who's out Pelicans, utah Jazz. Other than that, for basketball, that's all I got. Oh and last but not least, shout out To Stephen A Smith and for LeBron For keeping up the scuffle.

Speaker 2:

I feel, real good about it. A lot of clouds for my man, I think, james Neeson, because I think this might be his last year. I think Stephen A Smith might knock him out. What?

Speaker 3:

You think Stephen A Smith? That's funny.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, there's a lot of back and forth. It's funny how, out of the 20-something years that my man has been playing basketball, he has never done anything like this.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

And all of a sudden he's trying to step up. You think, is that a father figure speaking, or is that a player?

Speaker 1:

it's both, I think I mean you know I don't like it on both sides uh you don't like the scuffle going on right now. No, I don't like it.

Speaker 3:

I don't like steven a doing this and I don't like lebron doing that, so but um yeah, there's been a lot of shit going on about lebron.

Speaker 2:

The truth is coming out.

Speaker 3:

He's been a couple of years. Stephen A's playing dirty. Hey, shout out to my man, he didn't go to Kobe's funeral, yes, and he didn't go to D-Wade's.

Speaker 2:

Ceremony. Yes, I'm like damn Stephen A's going dirty, is he a?

Speaker 3:

friend. Yeah, stephen A's going dirty, is he a friend?

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 3:

I mean, I know, we don't know if this is true or not what?

Speaker 1:

do you mean you don't?

Speaker 3:

know if it's true, we don't know. Come on, man, there's no way he didn't go to kobe's funeral if somebody's calling it out. That's crazy they were there they didn't see him. I mean I don't know, but yeah if that's true, then yeah, I don't know he's like 7 10 you can't miss. Yeah, I, I don't know, so we'll see so, but yeah, no, they're both playing dirty, so yeah, so I understand maybe.

Speaker 2:

Maybe he's talking shit, but maybe not. But nobody else has not said anything else about it.

Speaker 3:

That's true. Yeah, I haven't heard anyone step up and say, hey, LeBron was there at the funeral and stuff like that. So, yeah, this is ugly.

Speaker 2:

Maybe it's true.

Speaker 3:

I feel it's true. I think that LeBron has no shot because Stephen A is like the goat of media. He can keep doing this, lebron has like one more year. So like LeBron fall back, like you're going to lose this.

Speaker 1:

You're telling LeBron to fall back.

Speaker 3:

This guy is like I'm just saying, stephen A is on TV. He's got on the podcast.

Speaker 1:

He's going to like and he's running out of games. The season's almost done.

Speaker 2:

That's what I'm saying. Lebron has maybe one more year, like you're gonna lose this, so but yeah, that's just my take. I do believe that he did not go to duane wade's memorial hall of fame inducting inducting, which was really sad, because if it wasn't for duane wade, he would have not gotten the chip.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, that's crazy if that's true, so so I don't know why we're just not hearing about it.

Speaker 1:

So I mean they boys.

Speaker 2:

So they kind of brushed it on the rug but it definitely would have me feeling some type of way. It is what it is. It's crazy. Yeah, we're taking shots. Yeah, I think this is the real deal.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I mean, but but this is your king care about I'm feeling good right now.

Speaker 1:

Three are number two. That's what he says. We got seven games left.

Speaker 3:

If they can win five and we get up to number three, that's all I care about.

Speaker 1:

So, but that's also the other teams I'm doing.

Speaker 3:

We will avoid denver and okc until like the championship you ain't gonna get out of the first round, uh we can. Oh, come on, that's crazy. All right, we're playing really good right now. D come on, that's without lebron. What do you mean without lebron? Lebron's gonna get his offensive mojo back. He's winning. He only got seven games okay, he's got seven games to get back like, but he has to win five of those seven.

Speaker 3:

We gotta win five of the seven to get to number three, and then that's all I care about. We just need to get to number three we can beat anybody in one game, seven games, I don't know about that's all I'm saying.

Speaker 2:

Listen, I'm gonna let you know about. That's all I'm saying. Listen, I'm going to let you know right now.

Speaker 3:

There's no way that you guys are going to beat Denver If we get to the championship.

Speaker 2:

If you get to number three, let me help you out. Number one is going to play number six, which is going to be, if you look at it right here, it's going to be Golden State. All right, houston is going to play Memphis.

Speaker 3:

Houston's overrated. Overrated. Do you know? They're not that good. We just beat them last night and I slept good. That was a great win last night, I slept good, you slept good. Yes, they're not, they're good on. I mean, yeah, okay, we, just as long as I don't have to play Denver or OKC in the first round. I think we got a good shot.

Speaker 2:

Houston's going to play Memphis, denver is going to play Los Angeles. So let me break it down for my guy, since he's not too familiar with basketball. All right, right now, number three you have Denver. Number four you have Lakers. If Lakers win, that means that's one game up. If Denver wins, that means that's one game up. Denver is one game above Lakers. That means Denver has to have Jokic sit down for all his fucking games in order for them to come out. So let's say literally, lyrically, they don't play Jokic. Guess what happens? Number three, which is Denver, will come to number four, number four. Guess who number four will be Denver. Then Lakers will to number four, number four. Guess who number four will be Denver. Then Lakers will be number three. You're still going to fucking play Denver.

Speaker 3:

The first round or the second round? The first round, okay.

Speaker 2:

So, no matter how you play it, you're still going to play Denver.

Speaker 3:

And you want to avoid Denver. I want to avoid Denver in the first round. There's no shot for them.

Speaker 2:

I see a 4-0 victory 4-0.

Speaker 3:

victory 4-0 Denver against.

Speaker 2:

LeBron, you might win one because you're flopping, might be working and everything like that. But unless you put Bronny in, you might win.

Speaker 3:

We got a big three. Now we got a big three. I think we got a good shot. Who's your big three? We got Reeves, lebron and we got Luka. We got two bad white boys and we got LeBron. So, like I said, I don't think we're going to win seven games, but I think we can win one or two games.

Speaker 1:

But what does winning one, two games have anything to do with it?

Speaker 3:

They just don't want to get swept.

Speaker 2:

That's basically what it is, exactly. Yes, that's what you don't want to get swept, yes that's more respectable.

Speaker 3:

Like D Hustle said, yes, yeah. I don't want to get swept, then why even go? What do you mean? Why even go?

Speaker 1:

Get a shot? What shot? You're already accepting it, so why even go Go to Mexico early? Don't they all go to Cancun after the season?

Speaker 2:

If I was the Lakers, and you don't want to play Denver, I would recommend you losing. So at least get a number five so you can play Houston.

Speaker 1:

And then ride that.

Speaker 2:

Because, since you guys are so well-known saying that you guys can beat Houston, you slept good.

Speaker 3:

Slept good last night. That was one gig.

Speaker 1:

Maybe you can sleep for a whole series on this one he ain't going to sleep the offseason If Denver goes and sweep them bro you ain't not going to sleep this whole offseason.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, we're not going to get swept by Denver.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, one game.

Speaker 3:

One game. Like I said, we can beat anybody on one game, seven I don't know about. So yeah, we'll see. Wow, All right.

Speaker 2:

And it won't be. I'm just letting Not seven games, it's going to be. I think it's five games. Five games or first round. Five games. Five games, first round. Five games, first round.

Speaker 1:

Oh, okay, okay, so best of five games. Best of five, if I'm not mistaken. Yeah, so if you win three, it's a wrap.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, so they don't even have to win four. Oh, they don't have to win four. I used to be so best of five, so you might not get four games player, but yeah, that's all I got.

Speaker 3:

That's all I got One last question for D who's the MVP?

Speaker 2:

of basketball, I'm going to say Shai, okay, all right, it's not Joker. It's a big boy man. I would love Joker again, but I would like to see Shai knock it this time. Joker has won it several times already.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I'm tired of.

Speaker 2:

Joker. You ain't tired of Joker Because he's on the Lakers right now.

Speaker 3:

No, I'm tired of him. I'm tired of beating him and beating us. I'm tired of him winning MVP. I'm sick of that guy.

Speaker 2:

You mean because he's not.

Speaker 3:

LeBron no, I'm just sick of that guy.

Speaker 2:

Give it to Shy. Yes, yeah, give it to Shai. I'm more than happy To see Shai knock it out, but again, nobody's gonna see it Right now. Shai and Denver has to knock it out, and whoever wins, I'm gonna say that's who's gonna be the MVP.

Speaker 3:

Okay, that's basically how it goes, yeah.

Speaker 2:

Okay, alright, that was it, and that's all I got.

Speaker 1:
