From Foldable Laptops To Inbox Zero In Real Life
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
A judge, an IT tech, and one sarcastic line: that viral courtroom clip turns into a real argument about what tech support owes the people it helps. We dig into the messy overlap between IT work and customer service, why “it’s working now” can still be a valid problem report, and how fast things escalate when someone feels embarrassed on camera. If you’ve ever worked help desk, software engineering, or remote support, you’ll recognize the tension instantly.
From there, we jump into tech news and the culture around it: an eye-catching foldable laptop-tablet with a giant display and a fully digital keyboard raises the questions that matter more than specs. How does it feel to type on glass, what happens when you drop it, and why do the coolest devices sometimes feel “overseas only”? We also talk Apple’s 50-year story, privacy, OS loyalty, and Samsung adding AirDrop-style sharing to Galaxy phones.
Then we zoom out into the future: AI-generated voices, actor likeness rights, and whether audiences will care if their favorite performance is a licensed digital replica. We close with a surprisingly practical takeaway for creators and business owners: email is still the highest-intent channel, spam filters get it wrong, and inbox habits shape what actually gets seen. Apple Turns 50 And Quick Takes
SPEAKER_00Shout out to Apple finally being out for 50 years. Uh basically how it started on the garage and now becoming a 3.5 trillion quadrillion quadrillion dollars. Man. Apple is well known for their computers. Yeah. Not for their phones. Facts. Uh so if you guys really, really are into computers and into privacy and into all that, Apple's where it's at.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. I actually, in terms of just history, feel like they are the ones that broke the desktop computer like uh trend.
SPEAKER_01If you haven't watched Invincible, you need to evaluate your life. It's been out for two weeks now, season four, as you can see. Uh season one, 98%. Season two, 100%, 100%, season four.
Welcome And Show Rundown
SPEAKER_03How does it have 100% on Rotten Tomatoes? Like, that's crazy. Who's on the board at Rotten Potato? Raymond. Welcome, welcome, welcome. What up, T Hustle? Chilling, man. Chilling. Pulling up to the podcast. Yes. Got a nice little show lined up for us today. Got my guy Raymond. Don't call him Ray Ray. What's up, gentlemen? What's up, player? It's going. You're looking very festive with that uh shirt on, bro. Too sure what's going on there. He's trying to be seen, man. He's trying to be seen. I tell you, I saw as soon as I saw him this morning. I was like, where are you going, player?
SPEAKER_01That's your regular. I'm changing it up. I keep wearing the same black shirts on the podcast. I'm like, you know what? Let me wear something different.
SPEAKER_03Oh, so you're saucing it up for them? Yeah. Well, we want to say welcome, welcome, welcome. This is episode number 85 of the Tech Hustle Podcast. And my guy Raymond said he's trying to sauce it up a little bit. Um, we got my guy Raymond, don't call him Ray Ray. And then my right hand man, D Hustle. What up, player? Yeah, yeah, yeah. He got his he got his ad libs running now. You see? We already tuned in. Definitely. Yeah. How was everybody's weekend? It was good. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Everybody had a good one? Yeah, not bad. Yeah. We went to uh Toastmasters event on Saturday. Oh, that's what's up, man. Um, yeah. God, Sunday was good.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, it was good. If y'all didn't know that uh Raymond is the Toastmaster of Toastmasters, how long you been doing Toastmasters? I don't know about that. Come on now. Uh 13 years. All right. Can you give a repeat? 13 years? Yeah, exactly, right? Uh definitely uh uh appreciate you showcasing those skill sets, uh speaking very fluently. And if y'all want to track, track how many ums he does because they be doing that in the Toastmasters meeting. Ums and ods. Yeah, but anyways, uh let me give y'all a quick run of the show. Uh we got a nice show packed lined up for us. Um we're gonna kick it off with De Hustle uh with some uh tech current events. Uh he got his own mix that he's mixing, so we'll see that when it comes through. Uh then we got my Rain, my guy Raymond. Don't call him Ray Ray. Wow.
SPEAKER_01There you go. That's the rock one. Come on.
SPEAKER_03Was that was that like on Q though? Because I thought it felt more Q-ish rather. Yeah, sorry. And Raymond is gonna come with uh looks like some a viral story, uh some utility sites, and uh maybe even a show or two. Um we'll see how D treats him with the shows. Um and then I'll come back with uh some um tech insights, um, talking about unsolicited emails. There, my guy's queuing up. You see, he's getting really good with this board, huh? And then let's not forget the sports update section. Yeah. I know what he was getting ready for, uh, but we'll have D Hustle pull up with some sports updates uh so we can see what's going on in the world. Uh, if you didn't know the Tech Hustle is about technology, engineering, and the culture and what's going on. Uh, that's why we switch it up and give y'all a little diverse, you know, um segments here. We'll have some sponsorship and then I'll have outro at the end and tell y'all a little bit about the newsletter and uh uh a quick uh shift in our community. Y'all, y'all, y'all down for that?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I like it.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01You want it by?
Foldable Huawei Laptop Tablet Debate
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I don't know. I was I was waiting for the applause. And and even better, now we got all the sounds that we used to have on our old board, so now it sounds more familiar. So I hope y'all are enjoying the upgrade that we've introduced. Uh, but to kick us off first, uh, we're gonna jump right into tech current events with my guy D Hustle. What's what what's going on, my guy? Oh, oh, oh, no, no, there, uh there it goes. We're still working on it. All right, we're still working on it.
SPEAKER_00Good morning, good evening, good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. Hope everybody's having a phenomenal day. It is the last month, week of the month for March. Hope everybody is uh getting ready for uh April Fool's, which is tomorrow. Is it? Um I ain't answering no phone calls. Easter Sunday, uh celebrating for Easter Sunday, so everybody. So let's get down to business and technology. The one and only uh I don't think I ever discussed about this beautiful tablet that's coming out here. It's an affordable tablet that doesn't feel like um I don't know. I I don't I don't know how to explain it to you here with this tablet. It's it's a tablet or a laptop, but not a tablet or a laptop. It's like a laptop. Interesting. Uh but it it's like a full-blown if you look at it. I just put it on Discord here. Yeah. Uh this this is affordable laptop, basically what it is. Um right now. So this laptop it is 18-inch uh fortable old display with a 3.3k resolution. All right, it folds into a 13-inch laptop mold, uh, has a 32 gram uh RAM, uh one terabyte or two terabyte SSD storage, uh 1600 uh nits bits brightness, 74.7 uh battery USB charging, and it weighs only 2.5 pounds. Interesting. All right, uh this beautiful tablet here is called the Hawaii Hawaii. I remember we talked about the phone that is very, very expensive. Oh, this is some Chinese stuff, isn't it? Yes. Uh but now they have a tablet or a laptop, whatever you want to call it.
SPEAKER_03Okay, okay. Now now I understand what you mean by foldable. So it unfolds, and then the keyboard is a digital screen, and then you also see the regular screen.
SPEAKER_00Also, make it flat.
SPEAKER_03Make it flat so you can get double the size.
SPEAKER_00Double the sizing if you guys want to watch a movie or a circle.
SPEAKER_03Um big shout-outs to them. I mean, I haven't seen I don't know if I've seen this yet. Have you seen anything like this? No, I haven't seen anything like this yet.
SPEAKER_05No, this is wild.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, and and we'll drop the pictures in there and definitely have them pop up. But uh, there's one that I'm looking at where the the keyboard is a digital keyboard um and the crease of it is right where it needs to be for you to be able to type on it. So I wonder how it feels and everything.
SPEAKER_00Uh yeah, you're gonna have to go overseas for that. So if you want to get something like that. They ain't gonna let you have that over here. It's really, really nice. Um, like I said, it's state of the art. Yeah, yeah. Uh$3,475. Ah, that price. Spread up your price range, right?
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah. Who? Mine? Yeah. You must be out of your mind, bro. Uh I I'll wait to see if they what happened last week with Samsung? Like they stopped selling them. I'll wait to see if they stopped selling these and then I'll cut catch you with the price. Discontinued. Discontinued, there we go. Discontinued price. Yeah. Or what I'd be telling my son all the time is this is a Black Friday thing. This is like think about Christmas time. We don't buy stuff like that right now. Um, but this is a cool one, man. I liked it.
SPEAKER_00It's really cool. Uh you don't get to touch the the keyboard at all. It's completely flat. Yeah, it's digital, the whole thing. It's digital all all the way.
SPEAKER_03Uh let me ask you this. Do y'all remember? So we we go back in the days where you remember blackberries, but not just the the the blackberries where you used to have the button on the bottom. You remember that? And then they and then they kind of got rid of the the touch buttons. Do y'all miss the buttons like typing-wise? Because this is basically moving in that direction. Like, there's no more filling of the buttons, it's all digital screen. Like, how do y'all feel about that? Like going from um blackberries where you had to touch actual button buttons and now everything is digital.
SPEAKER_01I don't like the new buttons like on the new iPhone. I think they keep making it smaller and smaller. Yeah. I don't like it. Yeah. I do, I mean, I miss it, but I don't make no difference, either. Yeah, I don't like how Apple's making it smaller though. Yeah. Like, come on, my fingers are not a baby fingers. Yeah. But I do miss it though. Yeah, like the the filling and pressing the button, right? Yeah.
SPEAKER_03How about you, D?
SPEAKER_00Um it's okay. Yeah. As long as they don't go back to the ABC and number two, you gotta go to gotta hit it several times. Yeah, you know, to get the letter out. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Oh, my last job before this one, uh-huh, where we were on call, they had gave us a flip phone. Uh-huh. And to text our manager, yeah, what D Hussell was saying, the ABC, yeah, yeah, was wild. That is crazy. You guys need to get a smartphone for us.
SPEAKER_03That is wild. And those that don't understand what we're talking about, if you ever look at your phone and you see the character or like the numbers, uh, they're usually characters listed there. So if you press number one once, it's A. If you press it twice, it's B. If you press it three times, it's C. Imagine you having the text by having to press those sequence of buttons is the error that we've come from. So um definitely I don't miss that either. That was crazy. Yeah, I I almost feel like texting really derives from those errors because the shorthand in texting is what I'm talking about. Like everything in texting now is shorthand, but it comes from that error where we didn't want to spell out a whole world, uh, like uh a WTF, like we're not gonna write that whole word out or lol. Like, that's where it actually really comes from, is that shorthand. We uh we made that.
SPEAKER_01Oh, look at you. Yeah, our generation. I'm saying he said we can't, we we made that. You know, our generation, me, you, and the hustle, like you know, because we like had to do that. For sure, for sure. So, yeah.
SPEAKER_03But I think this is a nice device. I I like to see how how it looks, how it actually opens all the way up because I want to I would more or less use it. It does open.
SPEAKER_00If you scroll over down, you get to see it uh opened up completely. Oh, I see it, I see it, I see it. It's really, really nice. Uh, I would love to, you know, try it out just to see how it is, how it's compared. Uh my main concern is what what kind of how do you call it? You know how you have this a protector for your phone.
SPEAKER_03Oh, I see what you're saying.
SPEAKER_00What kind are we gonna have that's gonna support the lengthwise or is it two separate uh pieces? Pieces. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Um if it breaks, do we need something big and fat like an autobox to try and uh protect this here? Does it fall if it falls down? Is it completely shattered? Is it done? Yeah, you know, these are questions I need to know. I feel you though. But again, as overseas, um, you barely see that over here. And if you do see it over here, that person is in contact with somebody over overseas. So shout out to them. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03They got they got they got the plug.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, they got the plug.
SPEAKER_03That's what's up. I like that though. Well, we'll see. We'll see if uh uh the other manufacturers pick this up, but uh we'll see how it all plays out.
Samsung Brings AirDrop To Galaxy
SPEAKER_00So my next two uh others I have is it's pretty short, simple, and sweet. Um nothing crazy. So Samsung just added the airdrop to their galaxies. Uh so you know how airdrop works for Apple? Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. Airdrop just happened to have uh to Galaxy S26 for them to I guess to uh share some pictures and contact info, uh, which I thought they already had that, but maybe Samsung's taking a bite out of Apple, which is a shout out to them.
SPEAKER_03Finally they're taking something from them. Taking something for them.
SPEAKER_00So let's see what happens with that. So all you guys who have Samsung, uh S26, S26 Plus, and S26 Ultra, uh, which means you guys can all finally, finally get able to airdrop uh for Android. So shout out to you guys over there. Yeah, uh able to airdrop. Uh I hope you guys are not taking a bite out of Apple's being fucking delayed. Uh so I am I'm wishing you guys nothing but the best. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03Uh and he he's wishing for y'all to get back to so he can transfer over to the show. Come back for another room. Right. He's ready for it. I don't blame you.
SPEAKER_00Not least, gonna give a shout out to Apple. Wow. Shout out. Shout out to Apple. Only because they've been out 50 years.
SPEAKER_03Oh, yeah, big shout out to it.
SPEAKER_00So shout out to Apple finally being out for 50 years. Uh basically how it started on the garage and now becoming a 3.5 trillion, billion, quadrillion, quadrillion dollars. Man. Over. I took a uh right there on the lovely um how do you call it on the lovely Discord computer as you can see the Apple computer. Uh which really knows that for people who are out there who are not trying to figure out Apple is well known for their computers, yeah. Not for their phones. Uh so if you guys really, really are into computers and into privacy and into all that, Apple's way that. Yeah. Uh they're not saying nothing wrong with your Acer slash, you know, Dell, HP. Um they're pretty good computers also. Uh, but this is what basically launched them. And then it's the Apple that got me a little confused. A Take the Bite Out of Crime Apple type of shit. You know, just it looked like for me, I thought it was one of those um the lesbian slash. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah. LGBT color combination. Which I thought it was. Um, but then eventually they took that out um and then just started making it completely you know, silver and shit like that. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03But I mean they've they've had an amazing run. 50 years, that that's crazy. Uh and you are right, like uh the desktop computer. I I actually, in terms of just history, feel like they are the ones that broke the desktop computer like uh trend.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, IBM and also they killed IBM, right?
SPEAKER_03They even had a I remember they had a Super Bowl commercial where they threw like a uh a hammer at this like IBM screen to kind of like uh announce you know the latest Apple device that's coming out or Apple computer. Yeah, that was great. Um yeah, though those times uh were were were were like really like OS battles, right? I I've I've never really been a Microsoft person, I only learned it for work. I was on the Linux side of the house, and I also didn't like macOS until the macOS adopted some Unix systems, and then like you said, the security got so much better on it. Um, that that's the only thing I run in my house. That's the only thing I trust running in my house. Um not no Windows machines. Um, but yeah, big shoutouts to them. And how much are they worth?$3.5 trillion?$3.5 trillion.
SPEAKER_00No, just me. I mean, I want to I would say the Apple phone blew everything up for you. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Um, besides the nano. I don't know if you guys ever had the nano oh the little iPad nano iPad Nano iPod iPod nano uh to listen to music. Yeah, um yeah, man.
SPEAKER_03Uh I thought I thought D was trying to figure out how he can get a check. He was trying to line up 3.7 3.5 trillion dollars. He's trying to figure out how you can get a check too.
SPEAKER_00But so if I make something up, ladies and gentlemen, just buy the shit and there's no return policy, and you fucking call it a day.
SPEAKER_03No doubt, man. Well, congratulations to Apple. Thank you. It's a really good story. I I actually um added it to my um reading list this week, so I'll definitely be checking him out. All right, my guy. So next up, we got my guy uh Raymond. Don't call him Ray Ray. Uh what's going on, player?
Viral Court Tech Support Blowup
SPEAKER_01So I wanted to drop a video in here for you guys. This story has been going viral over the weekend. I don't know if you guys seen it. Um, but before I drop it in, I know that you know the hustle has worked in tech uh to a level. I'm in tech, you work in tech. Quick question for you guys. Would you say, like being in an IT, would you say that it's a customer service job or not? Would you say do you have to provide customer service? 1000%. Okay. 1000%. Agreed. Okay, I agree too. So I'm gonna drop this link in here so you guys can watch the video.
SPEAKER_03All right, let me see if I can get it play here. And and you all bear with me. Raise that volume up a little bit, D. Let's see if we can get it to play here.
SPEAKER_05Of course you don't. And you're disjoined from the audio here, really? Yeah, should be. Let me see. Sorry, sorry. Five seconds, one second. You don't have to go. You're disjoined. Okay, yeah, you're good. Okay. False alarm. No, it wasn't a false alarm. False negative. Don't joke around. I'm serious about this. It was happening again. I understand. Thank you. Get out of my cover. Thank you, supervisor. Jesus. Second time expulsion today.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, so what do you thought about the video, Raymond? So um I thought that the judge was a complete jackass, but this thing has gone so viral. My boss was, he was, he even brought it up yesterday. He was like, Ray, if you ever did that to someone, I would fire you. It did what, though? I want to talk to you about it. I mean, okay, did that IT guy do anything wrong?
SPEAKER_03No. I mean I don't think so. What do you think, Dean?
SPEAKER_00I don't know what the fuck he was on.
SPEAKER_03Okay.
SPEAKER_00So I'll break the scene down a little bit. Break it down, Bobby.
SPEAKER_03So what it looks like is that uh there's technical support that's gonna go help a judge while he's actually probably conducting his business. The tech guy, in my opinion, is being funny about hey, maybe it's not a computer problem, might be a user problem, and kind of calls it out in a way that could be taken one way, but I thought he was just being funny. And then the judge basically slapped him in the mouth and like, hey, uh, let's call your supervisor because to him, I guess it wasn't funny. Is that the way you interpret it, Raymond?
SPEAKER_01Well, my you ever help someone with any issue, whether it's a car issue or a computer issue? Hey, Darwin, it was doing this, but now you're looking at it, it's working. Yeah, yeah. So basically, my boss was like, the guy, the IT guy made him look stupid. He said the IT guy should have just shut up and just acknowledged that it was broken, whatever he brought to him. Have you ever guys encountered something where someone came to you with something? And you was like, So, yeah.
SPEAKER_03I mean, I've uh you deal with it in software engineering all the time. Somebody says, Hey, it works on my laptop, and then when you put it in production, it's all broken, right? So, I mean, like, what am I supposed to do? Like, correct. It just because it works on your laptop doesn't mean it's ready for the big leagues. Yeah, I mean, that's the time I've dealt with that type of situation before. Um, but I don't know, it didn't seem like you gave him too much shade, did you?
SPEAKER_01No, basically, what my boss and some other people said that you should have just show me the contration marks again? You should have uh just said nothing, just acknowledged that it was broken.
SPEAKER_00I think the judge was a little bit more concerned of the video being played, and I guess he wanted him to fix it right away. Uh-huh. Uh from my understanding, by looking, fix it right away uh while he's recording. I guess because the camera was on. I guess he has uh I guess he has to, you know, do a judge his judge shit.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah, like you know, they're getting on the Zooms now. Ever since COVID, they do these things on Zoom.
SPEAKER_00But now that the IT guy is there, he comes in, he's trying to CC the camera. Right?
SPEAKER_01It looked like he was playing with him, right? He was joking with him, like, hey, it's it's working. Yeah. And then he kind of like, you know, was like, hey, false positive. There's nothing wrong. And the judge was upset, like, no, it was broken.
SPEAKER_03I don't know. I mean, I I I I thought it was uh like playing with did the IT guy provide bad customer service in that instance?
SPEAKER_00Yeah, he gave some sarcastic remarks.
SPEAKER_03It seems like you had that, it seems like he's had that com that uh uh feedback before.
SPEAKER_01Okay, watch your sarcastic remarks. So, okay, so D Husso agrees he shouldn't have gave that sarcastic comment then.
SPEAKER_00You mean at the end of the day, you're there to do it. I mean, I don't see nothing wrong with it, but at the end, it all depends. It seems like the judge didn't have his coffee. Yeah, that's what it did. That's what I'm saying. Yes, that's what I'm saying, right? Yeah, he couldn't take the draw. I guess the case was really serious and he wanted to get down. Maybe I don't know, I'm not there. Maybe it took him 20 minutes, 30 minutes for him to get there. Yeah. You know, the let's say, for example, the hearing is at 10 o'clock, and the IT guy comes at 10 20 uh you know to fix it. And he's like, Okay, hurry up, hurry up, get this thing done. And then he's trying to make a joke, but he was a judge is already ticked off because he was waiting. Because he was waiting. I I'm just saying, I'm not saying the IT guy, you did a phenomenal job. Yes, exactly.
SPEAKER_03Shout out to you, my guy. Yes. Um as an IT guy, I mean we can definitely relate for the judge, right?
SPEAKER_00Take a chill pill. Yes. The guy came, uh, interviewed, not interview, but came through uh to help you out. He could have just said, yo, uh, I'll see your ass tomorrow. Let that shit happen. Yeah, call it a day. Right.
SPEAKER_03But at the end of the day, and you said your boss gave you some shit for that stuff.
SPEAKER_01My boss was talking to my coworkers. He's like, Hey, Ray, did you see that viral video? He's like, if you ever did that, I would fire you.
SPEAKER_00Did you did you uh did you ask him which one are you? Are you the judge or are you the fucking uh tech guy? The tech guy.
SPEAKER_01He said you do not humiliate someone when they bring a broken issue to you. You just fix it. You just acknowledge that he's saying that the IT guy humiliated him.
SPEAKER_03How did he humiliate him?
SPEAKER_01By saying it was a false positive, by saying that it wasn't never broken, dummy. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03That's what But he didn't say that.
SPEAKER_01But the way that he said it was a false positive.
SPEAKER_03But but saying something is a false positive isn't the same thing, like yo, it's not broken, dummy.
SPEAKER_01I agree with you, but this is what my boss and some other people were saying. This guy provided bad customer service. He should acknowledge that. Yeah, it was broken. So I'm like, are you kidding me? So yeah, everyone's been talking about this thing.
SPEAKER_03I mean, it it could have been if for me a worse customer service is like belittling him. Yes. This isn't this is just like, hey, it looks like a false positive. Uh try it again. Type. Yeah, how about it? It doesn't seem like he's like, didn't I come back here? Didn't I come here last week for the same issue? Correct. Uh are you like dumb or something like that? There goes the button right there. Click the button. Go ahead and click it. Let me see you click it. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01And you never want to make a user feel like that ever.
SPEAKER_03That that right there can get you in the world. But that's the kind of stuff that D wants to say.
SPEAKER_01We don't want to say it. We've all right. But you can't do that. You gotta provide, like being in IT to some extent, you gotta realize you are customer service. You gotta provide good customer service. Right. I think the guy did great. But manager, I think he did amazing. We all know who the my manager is. I mean, come on. So yeah. For the audience, let the manager need up there.
SPEAKER_03And he's trying to keep his 95 broke. Um yeah.
SPEAKER_01This manager, that's it. Mickey Mouse. Yeah, there we go. There we go. But uh yeah, so yeah, I wanted to, you know, chat with you guys, what you guys thought about it, because uh, you know, everyone was going off on this, talking about it on the internet.
SPEAKER_03So well, I will say for our guests, uh, definitely if you work in IT and you've run into things like this, drop a comment below. And if you're not working in IT and you can sit on that other side of the table, tell us what you thought. Was this uh warranted for you to get fired from your job?
SPEAKER_01Call his supervisor? Like that's crazy. That's what he said. Like, I'm sick of this bullshit. Let me get his supervisor. What did he do wrong? Nothing but click the button. Bro, like you're calling my supervisor. That means I did something wrong. Yeah. I'm like, wow.
SPEAKER_03I mean, Raymond, you you're definitely afraid of getting in trouble. So I would never do that. So I would be like, yes, Mr. Judge. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01So probably wouldn't throw the sarcastic comment like this guy.
SPEAKER_03You would at least try it one time, though. It's not like you would you would shy. Yeah, yeah. It's like, do you need me to massage your feet, sir? Nah, man. That was that was light, bro. I thought it was gonna be something like uh maybe he slapped the judge or something like that. Or going into tempt or tempt the temp to court. What do they call that when you contempt? Contempt to court. Yeah, like something like that might be worthy, but yeah, I don't I'm gonna call your supervisor because I couldn't figure out what's going on. Like, hey. Yeah, that's crazy. You called me for help. Facts.
SPEAKER_01So yeah.
SPEAKER_00Wow.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Next time wait until the hearing is done, then work on his computer.
ShareX Screen Capture Tool Pick
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Or nobody else is there, but it's just you and the judge. That's crazy. Maybe that's what he wants. Then call the supervisor. That's nuts, man. All right, Raymond. What else you got on your list, please?
SPEAKER_01All right, man. So unfortunately, I had a great nugget for you guys, but I tested it before coming here. It didn't work, so I gotta use a recycled backup nugget.
SPEAKER_03All right, well, what you got?
SPEAKER_01So I got Share X here, which is Share X. It's an open source screen share program that I've been using it for years now. You can record anything on your screen. You can take screenshots, you can record videos, you can convert them to GIFs, pigs, um, anything like that. It's open source, it's completely free. And um Yeah, just wanted to drop that in there. If you're trying to record anything on your screen, whether it's a screenshot or video, if a user like a judge is not doing something correctly, like we just watched, use Share X. The only negative is it only works on Windows, it doesn't work on Mac. Oh yeah, um already off the page. Yeah, but um, but yeah, other than that, um yeah, Share X, it's a free open source program.
SPEAKER_03I think, and and this is just for for the hustle here. If you are running a Mac, if you hold your shift command and then press four, it does a screenshot. Or three. Three, it does a screenshot, and then four allows you drag and drop um certain sections of uh your uh screen here. But this product does seem a little cooler because it does have some functionality. It looks like it's 18 years old, so you've been using it that long, Raymond?
SPEAKER_01Uh I've been I just discovered it a few years ago. I haven't been using it that long. Oh, okay. I was about to say, bro. I wish I knew about it years ago. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03So especially when you're making documentation. Absolutely. Now that's the first thing. There's like screenshot, or what the IT guy should have done is have him take a screenshot of the problem he had before he got there to validate it. But um, definitely uh a really good product. I've I haven't used it before, but um always encouraged you to use these really cool tools, which is called Share X.
SPEAKER_01Yes, and we're always trying to get free stuff here on the podcast. Yeah, you guys don't spend any money.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. What else you got, player?
Invincible Hype And Rotten Tomatoes
SPEAKER_01All right. The last one here is I have discussed this show before, but I just wanted to bring up. Everything is a rewind with you, bro. Well, you know, hey, you guys can't get new every time. But yeah, only reason why I'm bringing this up is this show just season four is out. It just came out uh two weeks ago. I wanted to bring it up to you guys in the audience. Invincible. If you are not watching Invincible, or if you haven't watched Invincible, you need to evaluate your life. This show drop the link, bro.
SPEAKER_03You're over here like telling me I need to evaluate my life Invincible. Oh, I remember you did talk about this with your you watch it with your son or was watching my son.
SPEAKER_01It's not an anime, uh-huh, it's an adult cartoon. Well, it's an Yeah, you can say it go ahead. As an adult cartoon. Yeah. Superhero series. Okay. So it's all American, American actors, American voices. The reason why it's expensive is because they use like, you know, like the guy from Breaking Bad. He's his voice is one of the characters. Oh, okay, okay. So they use like big time actors, they're voicing some of the characters, and I can't say enough about this show. It's been out for two weeks now, season four. As you can see, uh, season one, 98%, season two, hundred percent, hundred percent season four. Like my son was like this morning, you ready for uh Invincible Tomorrow, Dad? It comes out tomorrow Wednesday. I'm like, yeah, buddy, I'm ready. Episode five comes out tomorrow. I mean, if you guys are not on this, I don't know what to say. Like, it looks like it's cartoonish, but it's not. This is an adult show. I need to like question my life while I even let my son watch it, but the show is badass. Um, so yeah.
SPEAKER_03So uh is this like uh uh uh like uh um what are those those Japanese ones? Anime It's anime, but it's American. Okay, but it has that same type of anime-ish type thing.
SPEAKER_01Yes, like some people here in America were like offended, like, oh, it's not anime, it's made in America, but it's just basically the American version of anime. Gotcha. So, but yeah, this show's fire, guys. Like, if you haven't watched it, like it's I'm gonna ask my son about it.
SPEAKER_03We might watch one episode. We'll see if we can give it one episode.
SPEAKER_01So if season four is out. I'm done.
AI Voices Actor Likeness And CGI
SPEAKER_03How does it have a hundred percent on Rotten Tomatoes? Like, that's crazy. It's just that good, bro. It's that good. Who's on the board at Rotten Potatoes? Rotten Potatoes, Rotten Tomatoes. Raymond. That's why I'm asking these questions. Is it Raymond? And Justin Civilian, the board members, the voters for this. That is funny. That is funny. Invincible, check it out. It's on Prime, guys. Definitely. So I I actually have a question here before we go on to the next segment. Um, so there's this. If you heard it first here at the Tech Hustle podcast, um, you said something earlier where people are gonna watch this because they can hear an actor's voice, that person voicing that character. How do you feel about um these same type of cartoons, animations, um being could be generated by AI, and then the actor's voice is also generated by AI. How do you feel about that?
SPEAKER_01How do I feel about it? Yeah. Uh I probably don't like it.
SPEAKER_03You probably don't like it.
SPEAKER_01Yes. How would you know? Uh I would say if it was made by AI, you would know. How? They're supposed to tell you, aren't they? Isn't there like a thing now they're supposed to tell you if this content was made by AI? But let's say they didn't tell you. If they didn't, then if it's fired, then yeah, I guess I would like it.
SPEAKER_03But as soon as you find out episode number five, uh that it's actually AI generated, then you won't watch it again.
SPEAKER_01I wouldn't watch it, but I don't know. I feel some type of way.
SPEAKER_03You you would but you would still watch it. Yes. Because it caught you on the hook. Yes. If it's good. Okay. So um be prepared. Yes. Um, because the thing that I think when I heard you say about the show that caught you was definitely the actor's voice or knowing the actors behind it. But there's this new um$600 deal that Ben Affleck did. Exactly, right? That they are basically positioning themselves so that the their likenesses or the likeness of them becomes a new product. Where um maybe we have Michael B. Jordan and Denzel Washington in there, um, but it's their likeness and their voice that um an AI can mimic, and you think that it's them, but I'm just wondering how you feel.
SPEAKER_01I don't see Michael B. Jordan allowing his likeness to be part of that. He's gonna want to do it.
SPEAKER_03Okay. So if that check is six hundred million dollars from Netflix and we want your likeness, Michael B. Jordan, uh, the the what what he's the uh actor of the year, yeah. You don't think he's gonna sign that?
SPEAKER_01No, I think he's gonna want to do it himself as in like being art. That's just my opinion. I could be wrong. Like, if I'm an artist, I would want to do it. You would actually want to do it. Yeah, like I don't want like if I'm like a hundred years old, like Morgan Freeman, yes. Damn, Morgan Freeman's not a hundred years old. Give him a pump bomb. If I'm like Morgan Freeman, yes, go ahead. I can't really act no more. But if I'm Michael B. Jordan, I'm in my prime killing it. Morgan Freeman can still act, bro. Stop playing with my guy. Okay, well, maybe that's what I'm trying to say. So but yeah, I I don't I don't see Michael B. Jordan doing that.
SPEAKER_03I I actually um I feel like we're gonna be noticing that even more as an investment opportunity for them. Um because you are right that um they are getting old, yeah, and uh they may not have the same flow as they used to, but you can still tell who they are, and that telling who they are, it becomes the new estate for them, um, in my opinion. And the in the direction that we're going on with AI, I'm just letting y'all know. Oh, yeah, I know. So what do you think, Dee? What do you think?
SPEAKER_00I feel great. D said I'm selling. I'm gonna tell you what. If I'm an actor, I've been doing acting for years, uh-huh. All right, and I've been doing cartoonslash movies, perfect example. Eddie Murphy has been doing a lot of Shrek and all that. If I tell Eddie Murphy, you've been doing this for years, all right? You know everybody goes the same way in the booth, use the microphone and go that Eddie Murphy, I'm gonna give you$20 million if you let me use your voice for this movie. It's gonna be under your name, your voice. You don't have to do nothing. Just let me know. Because you know you at the end you're able to watch the movie. Yeah. To see how it how it sounds, how that all plays out.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_00That's$20 million in his pocket. He handled not a goddamn thing.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that's a good way now that you put it like that. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03What part was it, the$20 million?
SPEAKER_00I'm looking at that as a payday. You already know that. Yeah, right. You already know what how you already know my check my fucking credentials. Facts. You you see what I've been doing, you see what I've done. And you know, I go from delirious to Shrek to freaking uh Norbit to Norbit to everything. Yep, yeah, and I'm just using your voice and you're getting paid off of that. That's that's that's money in my pocket. That's easy money. I'm telling you, bro.
SPEAKER_03Easy money, especially now. Um it doesn't have to be created with human likeness, it can actually be cartoonish. And we've already been doing it because you brought up Shrek, and that's a great example.
SPEAKER_01Um okay. Do you think one of these big time actors are gonna do this? Thousands of things.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, I don't see why not. Thousands. I don't see why not. If Ben Affleck is on board, I don't see why anybody else will be on board.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. And all it takes is just one of them to show what the potential is by getting a$600 million ticket check. Here you go, sir. Um, utilizing AI in some capacity. It it this is the part of like the evolution of where we're going that I don't think everybody's ready to accept, but money talks, bro. Okay, as soon as he said$20 million, you you you you always you was already shaking the sign. He did the Harlem shit.
SPEAKER_00He didn't know what was going on. He said, uh uh, 20 yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_03Right? And and I can watch the movie before y'all publish it, and I can, you know, make a little bit of all right.
SPEAKER_01You guys wouldn't feel some type of way if you watched a whole AI movie or whatever or voice, you wouldn't really?
SPEAKER_03It's uh I I I feel and I'm just saying about me, it's all entertainment. Okay, yeah. Now, if I were to go to a Broadway show and see the actor perform, I'm gonna pay a more premium price for it though. It used to be a hundred dollar ticket, now they're gonna be a four hundred dollar ticket, and I would pay for it because I want to see that actor perform. If I want to sit at the house watching a movie, remember I'm paying Netflix, bro. Like the Netflix, they keep going up.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, they are they're going up again.
SPEAKER_03Right?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, are they?
SPEAKER_00Movies that were made by AI. The Save Zone. The Frost. The Frost? The Robot Grow, Daisy. All these movies are made by AI.
SPEAKER_01Are they are they recent or um yeah?
SPEAKER_002022 was the safe zone.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I see that one.
SPEAKER_00Uh The Frost 2023, the Robot Grow 2024, and then this one was created by so the safe zone was uh Filipino entertainer Richard Juan after that he they released ChatGBT. It's considered one of the most short films and scripted by a directed instruction cameras movement lighting world generated by ChatGPT, along with Short Bay, uh created by D-A-L-L-E. I don't know what that means, but um and that was 2022. 2022.
SPEAKER_03Now think about where AI is now and and the reason why I'm bringing this up, um, the real reason why I'm bringing this up is I feel like we've been consuming so much AI um that we don't even know it and we are just blindly entertained by it, which is okay, but I want to see if y'all keep the same energy when y'all actually know it because technically it is entertaining, and something that gets four seasons in a row 98, 100% from Rotten Tomatoes, something's up, bro. What do you mean? Some something's up. Writing hasn't gotten that great. Like the writers got that great. I'm questioning, bro. Yeah, I mean a hundred percent, yeah.
SPEAKER_01It's a good storyline.
SPEAKER_03And and got you all like Google Gaga La and AI has something to do with that.
SPEAKER_01Well, yes, they are using some elements of AI. What elements do you think? I mean, you know, with the graphics and stuff. I'm sh- I mean, I don't know, I'm not a movie producer or whatever, but I'm sure with the CGI, that's with is that AI? Is that considered AI?
SPEAKER_03I think, and and I I I'm not in that field, so I can't really speak on it. But whenever I heard CGI, I think it's computerized graphics that are being created. Yeah. See, I think the computer G graphics um I, I don't know what the I stand for. Yeah. Uh, but I we've been using CGI.
SPEAKER_01We've been to CGI, no one really complains too much about that. But I think like the 100%, that's where people are like starting to push back. They're like, nah, a little bit is okay with CGI and all that, but they still want the real person's voice and stuff like that, like Avengers. Correct. Like, we're going to see that for Robert Downey Jr., you know, all those big like Mark Disney's paying all those big time actors because people want to see those people and hear their voices. Yeah. It's not because of like, you know what I'm saying? Like, I'm going to see Robert Downey Jr. play Doomsday. I cannot, I mean, you know, it's I think that that's still going to be a necessity to draw people in.
SPEAKER_03Yes. But um, Ronnie Downey Jr. uh spent just three days in a uh green suit with all these dots on him, doing maybe five scenes, and then he's out. He's done. Because now productions move to the virtual world, and uh, we have a perfect image of Robert Downey Jr. and we can hear his voice very clearly. Um would you look at that film differently?
SPEAKER_00Watch this. The Incredibles live action movie cast looks amazing. It was made by AI. I don't know who this lady is, but maybe you can tell me who she is.
SPEAKER_03Oh, that's the um the one that makes the suit, but she's a little short little person. By AI. Interesting. Interesting. And CGI actually stands for computer generated imagery.
SPEAKER_05Okay. Okay.
SPEAKER_03So anything that's computer generated within a film is considered CGI. Um and it's common common uh gateway interface is script standards for writing interactive programming. Um so I guess you kind of merged the two together. Bro, I mean Okay. I don't know, Raymond. It's just a general question.
SPEAKER_01Uh okay, all right. I mean, did you see the press conference with uh Dana White, the UFC guy? No, no, wait a minute. He just had a press conference a couple days ago where somebody was interviewing the reporter asked him a question. Hey, what's up with you guys using CGI for the commercials? And he was like, What do you mean? Or not CGI, um, AI. And he was like, What do you mean? And then the reporter was like, because the fans are complaining you guys are using AI to make the commercials and the art. Why don't you use a person? And he told the reporter to shut the fuck up and just watch the fight. So I'm just saying, uh I mean, that's Dana White, that was a little bit harsh, but it's it's gonna be a give or take. Like people still, you know, a little bit is okay. Like, you know, I'm just saying, you know, not full blown.
SPEAKER_03Bro, I I I guarantee you, if they showed us what we are watching right now, what is AI versus what's not is AI, you would be surprised. Okay. I mean, look at the Super Bowl. This this last Super Bowl commercials, yeah. I don't remember the statistics, but it's a very high percentage of those commercials were created by AI. Like we we are already experiencing it.
SPEAKER_00Oh, yeah, I know. I mean you use AI.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, I know. I do.
SPEAKER_01Alexa is AI. I that's definitely I know, I know that's fine, but I'm just saying, like, with my movies and certain things like art, I still want a music, I still want a human person. Certain things, of course, I use AI, it's a great tool, but I'm just saying the art stuff, I still want that to be like a a real person. Yeah, that's all I'm saying.
SPEAKER_03I feel you though. Um, I and this is why I think I have made a mention of it a little bit that I think that live performance is actually gonna be even more popular. Comedy and sports, yeah, like going to go see people do it is actually gonna increase um because of what the digital world has become, um, which I'm I'm down for. I mean, I I want to go see them perform in a in a live setting. So I'm like, oh yeah, you a real person. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, you can really sing or you can really dance, right? Correct. Um, but other than that, bro, if it comes through a computer and our TVs are literally a computer, everything is suspect to me, bro.
SPEAKER_05Okay.
SPEAKER_03Unless they show behind the scenes. You remember that that used to be the fun thing going to watch behind the scenes or the deleted scenes of movies and stuff like that. They need to bring all that stuff back so we know what it looks like. What um behind the scenes? Some of them do. Okay. Yeah. I actually seen them starting doing this podcast thing, like every uh show has like its own little podcast now type.
SPEAKER_00Oh, and these Raymond and see Strangers Things Behind the Scenes. Yeah, I didn't watch it. It was a two-hour garbage.
SPEAKER_01Sorry why I didn't watch it.
SPEAKER_03You didn't watch it? How you didn't watch it? You're such a loyal fan. Yeah, I don't really watch the behind the scenes too much. Yeah, that had so much CGI in it. Like, what do you mean? Well, like if you would have watched the the the the behind the scenes, you would have seen how much green screens they had in there.
SPEAKER_01I'm we know that it's still the kids. We've seen them grow up. You still had the actors, though. Those are still real people. I'm fine with the CGI. Of course, you need that for the monsters and uh the fake rocks and all that stuff like that, but still you got real people, the actors. Well Beckna, that was a real person. That costume, all that stuff on him. That took like 10 hours to put that on. Yeah. Did you guys see Frankenstein? I haven't seen it yet, no. You saw Frankenstein? The new one? Yeah. The one on Netflix. Not yet. Okay, it's awesome. The guy, the Frankenstein monster, every single day he to put that costume on was like a real deal. Like it took him like nine hours. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00How do you know that?
SPEAKER_01Because I saw like the director. It wasn't the backstage, but there's some stuff that he watches. But yeah, so that was it was great.
SPEAKER_00Oh yeah, you shouldn't watch that one.
SPEAKER_01That's you know, severance, yeah.
Email Habits Spam Filters Unsubscribe
SPEAKER_03When it's a one more cheese. But anyways, well, as always, Raymond, thank you so much for the nuggets. Uh definitely appreciate you sharing some good uh conversation. Um for for what what part Part with the one phone phone. But anyways. Alright, so next up, what we got is um some tech insights. Uh D, why don't you keep my music up so we can talk about some email stuff? I want to see if y'all run into this issue. Um, so tech insights is our segment where uh we just talk about general things that's going on in tech. Um usually talk about some AI stuff. Um, but something that's been coming to mind about um running a business um is emails. Um so my question is to both of you, and I'll actually start with D first is um are you one of those people that keeps your inbox like clean? Like you have all your emails read, they're either archived, something like that.
SPEAKER_00No, I like my sister, yes. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Your sister's bad at checking her emails.
SPEAKER_03I wonder where she got it from.
SPEAKER_00Yo, yeah. That shit just irks the shit out of me, to tell you the truth. I gotta read my emails, I gotta see what's going on. Uh-huh. Delete, save, delete, save, delete, save. After six, seven months, I start deleting what I have saved and stuff. At the end of the year, I start cleaning fucking house. You go archive. Yeah. Archiving the whole shit.
SPEAKER_01So let me ask you a question. So we go in your inbox, there's no like unread like 50, nothing. No. Okay. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00No.
SPEAKER_01How about you, Raymond? Yeah, I'm just like the hustle. I'm very type A. My email is clean. I read them every day. I archive them. I respond. Like even my girl, like looking at her text messages or emails, I see the looking at her text messages? Well, you know, when I'm on her phone or whatever, I'm not. Hold on. Just saying. Unread. God damn it. Unread. Like that drives me crazy. Like, how do you not read that or it just nah? That just no. I'm very type A. Like, I clean my emails and my text messages. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00So wake up in the morning, emails, messages. That's not. Then I go uh start archive. I even do photos. Oh, okay. Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_03You archive off your off your photos from your phone.
SPEAKER_00Photo photos that I'm not gonna need shit that I'm not gonna fucking memory. I just boom, gone.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah. Y'all, y'all are really uh good good users. Question for you about your photos. Do you have your photos on your phone?
SPEAKER_00No. Uh yes and no. Uh yes, because when I take it, it goes on my phone, but it saves to uh my Google um photos.
SPEAKER_01That boy.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, damn. A y'all dapping up and everything? I'm not included in none of this. I was gonna use the Amazon option here, but my wife be all up in that shit now. Gotcha. Okay. All right, okay.
SPEAKER_01You'll need to search into your archives. You can't hide them too, some of them in the Amazon.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, yeah, you can, but I'm not into the uh so I basically everything that I have in my iCloud. Um, I just go through it, I open up Google, let it upload, and then I start deleting. And everything I just keep is just like for my car stuff. So when I'm looking for something for my car, I just upload it. Once I upload it like on the gram or whatever, that shit gets deleted too from from the fucking camera.
SPEAKER_03True, true.
SPEAKER_00I mean, it's uh it's kind of archived and not like my mother that I got 20 minute fucking fucking pictures slash emails. Yes, she does.
SPEAKER_03Yes, she does. How about you, Bobby? I'm I'm like the worst of the worst, bro. Um 16,000 emails in my inbox. You're a tech guy, honey. I'm like, I'll explain to you what happened with me. Um let me get it. It's okay, it's okay. It's one more, one more. Just I'll just take one more. After that, very needed. There you go. That's neat. But um, what happened with me is um I got to a point where monitoring and managing my emails became too much of a job for me, especially when I had um an error where every computer used to email me every single day. So my inbox used to be hundreds of emails from computers telling me that there's a problem with it. Uh so much so that we actually had a um system that we pushed out to every single computer. So then every single computer, hundreds of thousands of computers started to email me. I turned that shit off immediately. I was like, hey, I'm not reading that email at all.
SPEAKER_00But you can you can you can almost what I'm looking for? You can select anytime you get an email of a certain specific person to archive it or to delete or to trash or whatever the case may be. Unless you're really looking for it, then you can go in and look for that email. But like stuff for me, like for example, I get for some odd reason I get Trump news. Like I have no idea what's in the tribe news. Uh on my email, I just go for it, look for it. Every time something like that comes, automatically to the trash. I don't need that shit. I don't even know why it's coming to me. So you can set up, I mean, I don't know if you probably have, but you can set up all that crap and just archive it, have it archived, move things around, so on and so forth.
SPEAKER_03Um, and definitely I could. But I got to a point where it's like, all right, uh, my emails are within that date frame time frame that I look at. So it's from yesterday to this date. If anything isn't read, then I read it, and if after it gets read, that for me is archived. Um actually, Google Gmail actually made this even more uh convenient to ignore your emails or then the amount of emails because it has the ability to organize them too. So we also have emails that go to in Gmail, your primary inbox, and then you have promotions, you have socials, you have updates and forms. Do y'all use any of those at all?
SPEAKER_00What do you mean?
SPEAKER_03So, like filters for your emails. So when you get an email, let's say um, for instance, the newsletter we just published the Tech Hustle newsletter. Does that go into your main inbox or does that get filtered out automatically?
SPEAKER_01Main inbox.
SPEAKER_03So all those emails go to how about you, Raymond?
SPEAKER_01Main inbox. I like to read every single email. Interesting. Interesting.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. So the reason why I'm asking this question is um I've learned over the years that people manage their emails differently. Our generation of individuals still use the old school way of keeping your inbox empty or keeping your inbox clean. The real reason that we originally moved that way is because we may have used like Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Outlook, and then they used to have to create an archive box because you didn't want your inbox to get full, because it would only limit the amount of space of emails that you could. So we had to kind of move emails out of the email system. As soon as you get into Gmail and stuff like that, that archiving need is no longer there. But the habit that you all have is something that I I personally haven't been taking advantage of. And this is kind of a public service announcement for anybody doing business is businesses should be emailing potential customers and customers all the time with nurturing emails. Like you said, you got an email from Trump for whatever reason, or you might get the Tech Hustle newsletter, but you actually still do read it. Is do you feel like your inbox is more important than let's say your uh Instagram feed? So I'll give you an example. So let's say that uh somebody sent you something on Instagram or you're scrolling. Do you do you have the same feeling when you go into your inbox? Like I'll actually have to go and look at it. That that's kind of where you are, right? Where you actually have to go and look at each individual email. Right? Yes. Right? Yeah. And Instagram you're just scrolling past. Yeah. And Instagram doesn't really tell you if you've seen something before or not, right? But what I'm getting to is that um if you are running a company, emails are the most important things to get for people, from people. So just like you said, you don't even know how your email got to Trump, whatever. My question is is how do you feel about emails that are unsolicited emails coming into your inbox? Like you see it in your inbox and you're like, I don't even know how the fuck I signed up for it. Like, how do you feel about it? I know you mentioned something about Trump, but how often does it happen and what like are you upset, pissed off?
SPEAKER_00No, yeah. No, no, I I I feel like the email has a mind of their own. I'm gonna tell you why. How do these emails know that they're spam? They come automatically into your spam. Yeah. How do you know I'm not waiting for that email? So you're selecting what emails to put into my spam. You see what I'm saying? So for me, it's like, okay, let's say I'm waiting for an email. Uh I'm having a closing next week. I never got an email from um the title company. Bobby D and Raymond Incorporated, yeah, coming into me. Never got the email before. But all of a sudden it's in my spam, even though I'm waiting all fucking day for this email. Not because I want to close in my house. Why are you putting this email in my spam? But then I get some Trump email, and all of a sudden it's safe to be in my inbox. In my inbox, knowing that the one that should be vice versa, Trump should be in the garbage. And then you are supposed to be in my inbox because I'm waiting for your email. You see what I'm saying? So it's one of those things, it's very iffy. I'm I'm here thinking that I don't know. I don't I I don't know how to explain it uh the best way, but I I I feel like it's it's uh they pick and choose a what gets filtered out.
SPEAKER_03What gets filtered out? Yeah. How about you, Raymond? Um, just what? In terms of like um getting unsolicited emails, emails from people that you didn't. I don't even know if he's here today yet. Yeah, no. I mean he's right now. Yeah, it's the shirt. That's what it is.
SPEAKER_01I don't really feel I'm not angry or whatever. I'll look at it and stuff like that. I don't get too angry.
SPEAKER_03Yeah. Do you do you find do you find yourself hitting unsubscribe?
SPEAKER_01I do stuff? Yeah, like if it's like something I'm definitely not interested in, I'll let it go for a little bit until I'm really like, I'm like, all right, I'm not reading it, and then I'll unsubscribe. I did that yesterday actually, and today.
SPEAKER_00But do you feel that there's times you unsubscribe and you see it again in your email?
SPEAKER_03No, I do not. Yeah, you don't see that? Yeah, I've done one.
SPEAKER_01I have that before.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, actually, I just unsubscribed to something and sent me another email today. Really? Yeah, and I unsubscribed last week specifically. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Oh, you're getting a little tricky then.
SPEAKER_03Uh-huh. So I guess what what what I'm concluding here is that um we spend a lot of time trying to get people to follow us on Instagram, on LinkedIn, and all these other platforms. Um, and as a business owner, um, I'm shifting my focus from just those platforms as a way of engaging and actually really leaning back on emails again and utilizing emails as a way to engage with people in our community. So uh 411 FYI, soon to be coming. You will be getting more emails from me um from the tech hustle uh because it we have proven that our engagement is way higher inside of emails than it is for Instagram. So uh just a heads up, and y'all, y'all were good, good, good use cases and testimonies to what what my assumptions were. So I really appreciate that. Now, what I'm gonna do is have AI draft all my emails and it's that's funny. Oh man, I can't wait. I can't wait. And then Raymond's gonna freaking unsubscribe, and I'm like, I'm gonna be watching and waiting for Raymond to unsubscribe because I know you see you read all the emails. But, anyways, uh next up we got uh what we got coming up next. Let me see if my goddamn. Look at you we gotta work on the last one. I don't know.
SPEAKER_00This thing is all confusing. Yeah, no, anyways, it's formidable.
SPEAKER_03I mean, you see how you add a little bit extra to it?
Rapid Fire Sports Updates And Rants

Floyd Mayweather's gonna fight Pacquiao. Uh Floyd Mayweather is doing something. It has to be money. In my opinion, it has to be money. It has to be money. I've been watching him for a while. Sorry about that. You guys didn't make it because Duke is a phenomenal team. We're gonna figure out what's going on over there. Yukon in Michigan. Yukon took care of business. Let them know Michigan State was not, then they're probably gonna need the Fab Five to come back or some shit like that. We don't know what's going on. Duke and Yukon, an upset for fucking Duke. Duke took that L one point. Not too sure if you guys seen what happened over there. Yeah, that was. But it is what it is.
SPEAKER_03That was an ESPN highlight, right?
SPEAKER_01That was crazy.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_00All right. Let's go all the way down into the south side over there. Iowa and Nebraska. Iowa sell listen. I'm not the only person in Nebraska, but we're gonna take care of business over here. And Illinois in Houston. Illinois and sell listen. Chi town, we're taking care of, let them know that it always gets cold in Illinois. Houston ain't got no heat. So Iowa, Illinois, Illinois took care of Iowa. They just destroyed them like there was no such thing as a baby in the chair. Michigan in the other side. Michigan against Alabama. Michigan took care of business. The Fat Five said, yo, hold up. Let's take care of the Alabama team. You're only good in football, not on basketball. Stretch your ass up. We sit down. Michigan all the way going to the chip against Tennessee. There's a lot, a lot of controversy going on with which who's gonna pick up who. Is Mendoza the right guy for uh Brady and team? Uh, but we don't know. All right, let's fucking get that out the way.
SPEAKER_03Let's try to figure out that. That is definitely sports related. That is sports related. I mean, why doesn't he have a driver, bro?
SPEAKER_00That's it. Hey, why why have your son drive?
SPEAKER_03Have somebody drive, bro. Uh yeah. Even if you go into the grocery store, why why are you even behind the wheel, man? Yeah, you make too much money to be driven. Too much.
SPEAKER_01Get Uber or something, man.
SPEAKER_03And this is like third type of incident with this guy.
SPEAKER_01He should not be behind a wheel ever again. I mean, he's gonna kill somebody or he's gonna kill himself. Yeah, you know how bad you gotta drive to flip a car over? Yeah.
SPEAKER_00The second he has to drive bad, that thing was very intoxicated. Uh really, really, really, really, really intoxicated.
SPEAKER_03And it was an SUV too, right? It wasn't even a regular car. Yeah, it was an SUV. Wow. I don't know, Tiger Man. Just bro. But he I don't know if we had reported on the top podcast the other day about uh DUI laws, the new ones here in state of Florida. So he took the breathalyzer, but he didn't take the blood test one. He refused to take it, so then they took him to jail. Yeah, so that's like the new law that they have. So if you do deny any consumption of it, you you're gonna spend the night in jail and you're gonna get your license suspended also if you if you decline it. I didn't know they put you in jail. Yeah. Oh wow. Yeah. Damn. Yeah, so he spent the night there. But hey, don't don't agree to anything. Yeah, yeah, we're not any legal representation here. We don't have any backgrounds in that stuff.
SPEAKER_00So don't let's just make a background this is not legal advice.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, this is definitely not legal advice. All right.
SPEAKER_00How you call it my man um and Joe Flacco signs a one-year contract for the Bengals, and this year uh Super Bowl is gonna be in the lovely loss, uh, the Raiders.
SPEAKER_03Oh, it's in Vegas this year. Vegas.
SPEAKER_00Wow, that's gonna be big. Major League Baseball, ladies and gentlemen, Major League Baseball is going on. As I know, no one if you guys know, opening season just started. Yeah, man. A lot of teams doing phenomenal right now. Blue Jays 3-1, Yankees 3-1, Tampa two to two, Cleveland 3-2, Kansas City. Shout out to Porsche over there. 2-2 over there, looking good for Kansas City over there. And let me go ahead and go to my uh my side. Miami. Oh my goodness. That's what I said. They're laughing because they are number one right now. That shit never happened. Don't worry about that, bro. It's the beginning of the year. Let's wait until we don't worry. Uh Mets, second place, three to one. Actually, it's tied up. Same uh going on Philly all the way at the end. Philly's just warming up, so please, calmate. Cincinnati's doing phenomenal, and again, the Dodgers are just doing great. Three to one. Nothing. And then NBA, ladies and gentlemen, we're trying to figure out what's going on in the NBA. Let me give you the standing as far as uh Detroit, clinch, number one, Boston, number two, Knicks, number three, all three of them has clinched playoffs. Cleveland's trying to look for it. Toronto's trying to get dirty, and Atlanta is trying to, Philadelphia's trying to get in, and Orlando is also trying to get in, and Miami are almost right behind it with two games behind to trying to get into the playoffs bracket. Milwaukee, Bulls, Nets, Washington, Pacers are going home to Cancun, trying to figure out. OKC in the west side. Uh over there, Clinch, not even a problem. San Antonio balling. Uh Bum Lakers are number three, trying to figure out what's going on. Denver Nuggets, I'm not too sure what's going on in that organization, but they're there. Minnesota jumps from number eight to number fucking five. Wow. That is a phenomenal move, ladies and gentlemen. Houston Rock is KD. I'm happy to see my man KD about to enter the playoffs, but we're trying to figure out. But Phoenix Suns were in last place, and they say, you know what? Let's go up to number seven. Two games behind right now as we speak. And what is this BP here? BP Trailblazers and Golden State. BP. Let me see what BP stands for. Hold on. Uh clinch playoff birds. Oh shit. So Portland and Golden State. All right, clinched the playoffs. Congratulations to those guys. That is hilarious right now. As you can see. Uh, Memphis has been eliminated. So no more jaws. Ja is over here just shooting. He's gonna about to be shooting in the fucking uh area. Other than that, we have LeBron James trying to figure out what team he wants to be in. I don't know. You might see the first duo father and son retire in the same fucking year. Congratulations to them.
SPEAKER_03Wow. The duo retired together. The duo. I don't know.
SPEAKER_00They might go to Miami. They might go to Cleveland.
SPEAKER_03They might go to New York, bro.

That's how much you gotta stay on. But it's still in my inbox. Like, it's not like it didn't get. If you don't respond within the hour, uh-huh. He calls you, he's like, Are you working right? Uh-huh. Because I sent you an email. Wow.
